I like all the Subaru-es,Mithsubishi-es,Lancia's and other cars in this video but the reason I clicked on play was just to see the 5 seconds glory of the Peugeot 205. :)
Great video. Just shows what a spectacle the Group B cars were and to some extent, the Group A cars such as the Delta Integrale. The more modern machines are undoubtedly quick and smooth but a lot of the theatre of rallying has been lost. I appreciate safety and environmental concerns play a large part but it is still a real shame.
Fantastic to be able to compare the outright speed of each era of top tier rally car. I've often wondered what stage times are like now compared with group b days.

It's good to see the old Group B cars still driven to the limit and beyond (because that's what they were designed to do in the first place ) , but you can see why they were banned . i love rally cars from all eras,the old group b sound great and because they are out of control the look great around the bends.the modern cars are so smooth and quick its also amazing to watch.pity you cant get the speed of todays cars and the noise and style of the old cars

In all seriousness this is a fabulous event, those of you in the know will appreciate what I have to say.. Thursday, get up to San Marino and walk up and down the hills. Friday, get down to the stadium and take a look at the cars after parking on top of the hill. Saturday, walk and drive up the hills going to the stages, in the evening drink and eat the worlds' greatest food. Sunday, walk up and down the f*****g hills - again. Tuesday glad to be home. Thursday, planning for next year......!!!!!!

drecksgo ogle S4 have turbo and supercharger - 037 had only volumex (supercharger)

This 037 is the Group B version, not the Stradale, so it has Turbo and the wining Compressor drecksgo ogle was right

Oh it is, 560bhp and AWD, but not as fast as the one with the big spoiler and funny sounding turbo.
