Amei, quase não consigo parar de ouvir, sou louca pra aprender tocar desse jeito, sou apaixonada por percussão, faça mais vídeos ensinando, por favor!!
On Sunday I am going to bring down the house in church when I play my LP Cyclops using this method you showed but I will play two tambourines,,,,"I'll show the Pastor"........
I'm a horn player but I will occasionally play tambourine whilst jamming. I was wondering if there are certain "tambers" of tambourine for certain types of music such as funk/blues or rock. thanks!
Thanks Everyone! Yes, I'm using one of LP's Cyclops Tambourines. This model has steel jingles. There are also models with dimpled brass jingles. The shape makes it easy to play because the center-of-gravity of the tambourine is closer to the hand.
Something very soothing of a simple rthymatic tune, tambourine is not hard sounding beat like a drum and not sharp like a string instrument so it's perfect for meditative relaxation music
This is great. The description says this is a continuation of a series. I'm looking for basic techniques. Where can I find the rest of the videos in this series? Anybody? Anybody?
I use Meinl ABS Combo...it has Nickel and Brass Jingles. The sound is not too bright and not too dull. Also it has a nice balance. Give it a try and see.
Their are so many different tamborines like the basic Arabic riq, pandiero , daf or Def and each one has t It's own techniques. The tamborine is not as easy to learn as some musicians think.
I've watched many tambourine lessons and no one has said how the count beats, measures or how to put song together and play music. You said "down beat" but that was as far as you went. If you hang with a group and just shake shake shake you'll be run out on a rail.
Thank you everyone for watching my LP videos, and for your thoughtful and generous comments! You inspire me to do more! Blessings,
The videos are very helpful!
Thank you!

I believe that the tambourine Mr. Greiner is using is the LP Cyclops one.
Are these tambourine lessons available on DVD? If so which one please? Thanks.

Does anyone have the links for the other videos he refers to?
Which exacttambourine is Mr. Greiner playing? It sounds excellent - or is it just his playing skills? I'm looking to purchase my first tambourine. :)

RIGHT MEOW JIM!!!
Just focus at he's face when he play the tambourine
34 thumbs-downs fro the Tommy Emmanuel of the tambourine? Shameful.
I have absolutely no rhythm
That isn't a tambourine, it's a frame with jingles on it. A tambourine is a drum.
Welcome to the 21st century, friend
