Honestly for the Roman Empire it was all 9 of the Sections that caused it's collapse.

What about sticking their noses every where fighting wars, like the U.S.
What about reckless spending and debasement of currency like the U.S, and not sticking to gold or silver as money?
Or giving "free" stuff to the people.
It's because they did exactly what the U.S is doing now. Let's keep it real, the U.S will fall SOONER than later too.

@@JohnDoe-vn2kh No one will invade America. It will have to be a economic collapse and political polarization where the states declare independence to cause America to collapse. Possibly a war will cause this, another US invasion possibly Iran will impact America, maybe causing it to collapse.

What about moral decay/decadence (i.e. the erosion of values). Spengler, Troynbee, and Sir Glubb came up with very accurate, erudite models concerning this. Seeing as its a cyclical pattern, and that empires are biological organisms.

The area of Mauryan Empire is exaggerated...
they never had claim over Nepal/ Nepa Valley(todays Kathmandu) and the terretories of Hill and Himalayan Region...
Nepa valley was ruled by Kiranti(Tibetian origin, native of Himalayan region)/ Lichhavis at that time period
but its true that a few places of soutern nepal had influence of Mauryan Empire...
