Hi Kristen, I MUST say, your ability to find potential in items that others might overlook is impressive. The way you handled each piece, considering how you might repair or repurpose it, shows your creativity and resourcefulness. Your candid reactions and thought process throughout the unboxing made for an engaging and relatable viewing experience. It’s always interesting to see the challenges and surprises that come with rescue boxes, and you navigate them with a great attitude. Looking forward to seeing how you transform some of these finds in future content! Keep up the fantastic work.
Kristen, with the white sweater, try spreading Blue Dawn on the stains. It works for me. You can wash wool in cold water on the gentle cycle. Use fabric softener. Lay it to dry.
Have you tried Fels Naptha laundry soap? I used it on blueberry stains on a white item. It’s a cheap old fashioned laundry soap that lasts a long time.
OH no sometimes you just gotta say oh well its OK cant win them all! Use the sweater as a test and die it Black what is there to loose ! Your so sweet keep your chin up!
Hey Kristen, I raised hell on one of my DIY mystery boxes. They were so bad pilling and rips and I took pictures of all the clothes and Send a message to thredUP and they did credit the full box. Give it a try.
Wow! 😢 At least no comments can say RUclips creators get the best boxes. But this was so bad. I would complain to ThredUp. 6 holed scarf and a multi stain DVF with SW scuffed shoes. It’s worth a try. Sorry sure your next one will rock. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!!
No more designer boxes from thredUP! My last and final box was a box full of trash; a sweater with 9 holes in it, a dress with 5 holes, soles with holes on a pair of shoes, shoes that had water damage, and a pair of outdated vintage shoes, a pair of shorts that were snagged, and a part of a dress. I was able to get $40 dollars back. And I lost $100 plus shipping. I would rather just shop local like I do, at least I know what I’m getting.
The thing with these boxes is that Thredup is a business and should make their customers happy by not giving literally trash to them. I had a box so bad once I complained and they refunded me a partial amount.
I can’t always complain about every bad box I get. It’s the name of the game. The items are supposed to have flaws. ThredUPs rescue boxes are a mystery and a gamble.
Such a bummer of a box. The zipper is at least fixable but I can't say the same for all of the items. Isn't part of the DIY designer box is that one can fix it... So they have to be fixable. At least the Max Mara pants are nice.
It is super disappointing when you get a dud box because it takes so long to get one. I have had three really bad DIY jewelry boxes in a row (this last one was, literally, 5 pound of plastic bead necklaces and the one before was one dated plastic necklace and 75 (yes 75) beat up Alex and Ani bangles) and who knows when I get another to give it another try. I feel your pain.
Sorry the boys X was so disappointing. I would try dying that sweater, I’ve dyed things before, I think I actually did it in the washing machine. Get a box of Rit Dye and check the directions.
I just got one and it was TERRIBLE!!! Literally the first item was an Elizabeth and James Kohls dress, I complained and they sent me back that E&J is in their designer list 🙄🙄🙄 Never again!
I can’t always be complaining, these are “rescue” boxes and there’s supposed to be flaws, it’s a total gamble. People that email them and complain all the time are missing the point of these boxes. And I’ve been denied refunds before so I’m sure others are as well.

what about some metal caps for the points of the blue jimmy choos? i think it will spice them up nicely
Great idea!
I would dye the sweater a camel brown ,it's easy to do .i did it with a sparkled white table cloth it came out really nice
So sorry about the bummer box.....😮 At least you can chuckle about it.❤️
That was rough! Sorry but hope you can make some money back from the box. 🤞These boxes used to be so much better…😔
Hi Kristen, 🕊🕊Happy Sunday! Well the bright side is uh yeah you made it through to the end with smiles LOL
I was laughing so I didn’t cry 🤣🫣
Oh and if the blazer rip is on the lapel maybe put a big sparkly brooch and disclose. Good luck!!
No it’s on the shoulder sleeve unfortunately
This box was a bit disappointing. Have a great rest of your day 💜
Wow Kristen that one was ruff 😮 praying for you to make your money back🙏
Oh no! This was a really tough box all around!
I am feeling sad ,this box so far is not good 😢
Preparing you for an amazing one next! 🎉🎉
Better be! Haha

So so sorry 😢 Kristen no more DIY boxes 😮
Hi kristen that was a pretty bad threadup box this time. Waiting and watching for the next video carolyn . Have a wonderful weekend
❤ a bonus video! Sorry, that box was rough! 🩹🤕
The Stuart Weitzman are cute, would keep them if they were my size. The DIY Designer box is up, trying to debate if I should get one. Lol
This box is rough but the Choo's were a pretty color.
OH no sometimes you just gotta say oh well its OK cant win them all! Use the sweater as a test and die it Black what is there to loose ! Your so sweet keep your chin up!

Wow, agreed; this was definitely not up to par with most of your other TU Designer DIY boxes. 😞
Bless your heart!
I feel your pain ….. it’s the gamble we take but this one is just goodwill stuff or saver 😢😮😢😮😢😮😢

Lol right??!
"Oh Swanee, how you failed me, how you failed me, my last box swanee..."
Too bad about the DVF sweater - it’s so pretty! Not the best box but hopefully you at least make your money back!
Oh Kristen!! What are they even thinking? So sorry! 🩷✌️😘
Look at those bibs of purses to the right!!!
Tubs of purses*
😉😉😉
Oh my god, please go to the dentist! Your teeth are trash, like that box....don't smile, it's traumatizing 👹

I will get this box again just not anytime soon. This is the first bad box in a very long time. It’s the name of the game. It’s a gamble
Sorry to see this one was terrible. If you can dye the white sweater that would be one solution? Fingers cross you can sell the others. 😊🌸🌼🌸Maria
I am so sorry,Kristen..I hope you’ll at least get your money back.🙏🏻😢
That was such a rough box - I'm sorry, girl!! Hopefully, you can make some money back on it!

So sorry!
You should complain about that box. Your way too good Kristen. Thred up can get up the street with their mess!
I can’t always complain about every bad box I get. It’s the name of the game. The items are supposed to have flaws. ThredUPs rescue boxes are a mystery and a gamble.
A sweater for Dallas? :(
Haha awww!!
I’m sorry for the bad box. How about a brooch over the spot on the blazer.
It’s on the sleeve, up by the shoulder though
The sweater could have some life if someone wanted to stitch some patches on the 3 largest stains. I mean it's a nice swtr. Sorry about that box.

That was so hard to watch I would totally complain!!
Ehhhh it’s the name of the game. The gamble.
True but unfixable sucks@@KristenDanotherchanceresale

Oh my gosh. That’s the worst box ever. I would be so mad!!!! So sorry
I use to love Thredup but their prices are now insane.
Sorry the boys X was so disappointing. I would try dying that sweater, I’ve dyed things before, I think I actually did it in the washing machine. Get a box of Rit Dye and check the directions.
Hi Kristen. So sorry
مساء الخير تحياتي لك 👍
Hi Rif hope you’re having a great day
Your videos are amazing but I wouldn’t order from that company for a while. Maybe send them an email asking about the bad box.
I can’t always send an email for bad boxes. It’s the name of the game. It’s a gamble.
I’ve NEVER seen anyone get such a horrible box! 😢 I know it’s the chance you take but seriously?
Hi, Kristen! Ugh….this was painful to watch. Have a great week! 😊
I just got one and it was TERRIBLE!!! Literally the first item was an Elizabeth and James Kohls dress, I complained and they sent me back that E&J is in their designer list 🙄🙄🙄 Never again!
It's a chance with these boxes... sometimes they are 💰sometimes they are 💩.
Wow what a bad box,I would take pictures get a refund or credit ❤

I'm beginning to think Thred Up DIY means Dump It Yourself ! Lately it;s been ruined or fake !
Sorry Kristen,I guess the inspector had the day off, those things should have never been sold to anyone.😢
I'm sorry
Ugh!! Dang ya just never know, but this one was definitely a bust. Sorry 😢
Sorry it was a fail Kristen
Darlin, you got a crap box!😮

Oh, Not great..Argh!
Oh Kristen 😢 The next one I pray will be great! You’ll make it up soon.❤
Chin up!😅❤
I'm so sorry. This was not good. I hope the next one more than makes up for it.
Maybe give them a couple months off😢
For sure
Terrible box. I don’t think you’ll come out ahead on this one.
I will not be happy to receive this box 🫣😬
