Does Ruin even know Dusk tampered with Eclipses code too? Earth speculated that Eclipse's system runs some programs in the background, and Ruin says this change to his code looks so insignificant it would be easy to overlook . Eclipse surely could've overlooked that due to everything that's going on and Moon definitely did since his mind isn't working properly right now. But if Dusk put it in both of them then it has to mean something... and he wants Bloodmoon to be gone too... what is he getting at?

Old Moon doesn't know who Solar is because he changed his name. Old Moon knew Solar as the Nice Eclipse that he had Lunar meet to help him get better from his trauma with Eclipse.

Monty really did grow more sensitive to come in and ask OG Moon about if he’d like to take control over again rather than just doing it!
What Earth doesn’t understand is Monty wouldn’t be asking permission if it wasn’t for her being their partner. That before getting Earth, Monty was reckless and cared little about others. Yet with her, he’s growing into a bit of a softy for others’ feelings! Improvement they subconsciously done!

5:01 I’ve noticed that both Monty and Eclipse today said “except the way he wants to do it”. Eclipse said that over on the Lunar and Earth Show, while Monty said it here on the Sun and Moon Show. It’s so obvious Solar will eventually be brought back. I know I say this a lot, but there’s some people who still think Solar won’t come back. Like come on, he’s a fan favorite, if they’re planning to bring Old Moon back then so can Solar. Eclipse already has a better plan anyways.

I feel so bad for New Moon, he’s too far gone that their going to bring Old Moon back. Not that I don’t like the Old Moon, I just feel bad at this is the path that New Moon took. I wouldn’t really blame him though, if Ruin Eclipse didn’t do what he did, none of this would have happened in the first place. We can all blame this on Ruin Eclipse. Now I can’t wait to see Eclipses plan to bring Solar back into action when the time comes. If Old Moon comes back before Solar does, well looks like New Moon will never get to see Solar again…that’s actually really sad to think about. 🥲 But then Old Moon would meet Solar.
The thing is,if Ruin didn't do what he did,then a possibly worse scenario would have happened,we saw it in Moon's dream,so both ways,whether Ruin did what he did or not,it would both lead to bad endings,one possibly being worse than the other.

@@ARandomPersonHere111 Here’s my thoughts. Ruin Eclipse could have found an alternative way to do his plan though, but he was too lazy or dumb to do it/find an alternative way. He could have made it so it would have only made the creators die, but no, he got Solar along with a lot of innocent people caught in the cross fire. Collapsing thousands of dimensions which killed everyone in those dimensions that were collapsed. Before you say that Ruin Eclipse stated before that there was no way to separate Solar, just no. Ruin Eclipse before had said awhile ago (I forgot when, but it was more closer to when Solar had died) that there is no way to bring Solar back, yet Eclipse already found a way to bring him back (he got information from evil Sun) and evil Sun even knows of a way to bring Solar back. So yea, I do believe Ruin Eclipse was too lazy or even dumb to even think of an alternative way to just kill the creators instead of millions of innocent people who got caught in the cross fire.
I think I'm beginning to understand what is happening with Moon: He's trapped in a dissociative state. Nothing feels real to him. The hurtful words, the desperate actions, his anger--- it's all because he can't tell reality and illusion apart. Sun and Earth might as well have been one of Moon's hallucinations. Moon thinks bringing Solar back will help him feel real again, but it won't. He'll only spiral more.
This whole "I am the bad guy," thing is just him looking for a way to feel. And he's too afraid to face the real consequences of his actions, so he's just pushing further in the wrong direction
Foxy was right that he needs someone to get hurt. It needs to be in a way that makes him realize this is reality.
it would be insane if eventually everything comes to a hault and moons been having hallucinations the enitre time, so all of this was in his head and he's just sitting somewhere... and no ones knows what's happening but they know somethings wrong with him. i know that's probably not it but it's a theory

I have a feeling if they do bring back the old moon he’s going to do his best to be better than he was. He’s still gonna be a bit sassy and stuff like that but he will do better. Either that or sun is going to take up on the offer of getting hurt to snap moon out of it.

Even though that Moon wanted to bring back but the pain is taking over him.
This may be wishful thinking, but I hope they can help BOTH Moons. I always thought it was sad and unfair that Old Moon ended up in a kind of comatose state, because his sacrifice was very noble and he wanted a better brother for Sun. Even if he didn't think so, he was doing a lot better as a person than when they started the show.
On the other hand, New Moon was a very good brother from the start, he helped Solar, and he helped with Jack to protect Lunar. I think it would be incredibly depressing if this is how New Moon ends his "run". It may not be as Foxy and Monty thought, but Earth getting kidnapped could be the thing that starts making New Moon snap out of it.
Maybe New Moon and Old Moon could share the body or even be a kind of "Moon fusion" (getting both the good and bad parts of both of them), but then again, if that happens it could be a similar situation to Sun and Moon sharing a body, or Moon and Lunar sharing a body, and it could end up being uncomfortable for both of them.
If Old Moon does come back, then I really hope he learns. I hope he's truly better for Sun, but also for the others. He needs to be.

I honestly feel terrible for NEW moon… everyone is against him even himself!? I don’t think abandoning him in a cage will help him at all, sure it stops him from doing bad things but it’s making his mental health go down hill and all everyone has decided to do is leave him behind and NOW try to replace him with his OLD self he doesn’t know what’s real and what’s fake and instead of helping him get through that they’re leaving him to deal with it himself… but like when sun was going crazy moon was there to help him..and sun said some very hurtful things to moon during that time and yet he still forgave sun and their bond grew stronger… but after the earth situation everyone has supported earth not saying she doesn’t need the support but they left NEW moon in the dust and just because he said hurtful things doesn’t mean he hates his family.. he hates the people that hurt his family and ik he doesn’t want to listen to eclipse but if eclipse came in and was like “I know how to bring solar back and I’m trying to..I even got consent/help from lunar” like maybe something like that with bring moons hopes back and idk but I feel like eclipse is our best bet to getting moon back on his feet because he’s not scared to talk back to moon and talk him out of his madness even if moon doesn’t listen it will make him think… I do miss OLD moon but we can’t give up on NEW moon😭🌙
Me too, Moon can't be simply replaced with another version of himself. How would they be better of then what Moon is trying to do to bring Solar back? He is still grieving the loss of Solar, and now with the pain of the electro shocks he feels like the whole world is hostile towards him! It pained me hearing the shocks go off and Moon grunting in pain! Than when he woke up he sounded like a rabid animal he was so furrious 😭 He needs professional help ASAP!
Thank you. Honestly most of the people here just want old moon back. I think we should get a real therapist for moon, cause I got to agree with moon here, earth is by no means a real therapist, she’s just a little pissy thought when someone says it out loud.

I'm ok if bringing old moon back will help the new moon, even merging them or at least their memories. The only thing I request is that the old moon treats everyone, especially Sun, a bit kinder and not a jerk like the new moon started to do. I know old moon loves his family so I'm hoping he'll change his attitude towards them and actually work with Sun like a brother and not do things on his own like he used to. New moon is becoming far worse than the old moon even without killcode.

At this point, it might be better to just erase the New Moon. I don't think there's anything that can change his mind. (except maybe Sun getting hurt or worse, and then New Moon will finally realize his mistake.)

Alright! Old moon is coming back baby! I am very excited, especially since I only know New Moon since I join the fandom after Old moon died, so I am looking forward to seeing old moon come back and reunite with his family. ❤❤❤
I really love the close friendship between Monty and old moon... it's so sweet and I hope we see more of that when old moon returns. 😊😊😊
P.S, really thought that this episode would also show Monty realizing that Earth is missing, but it seems like this took place before Bloodmoon kidnapped her....😰😰
I swear every minute of this video makes me want the old moon back. Though i do think you gotta talk to sun, lunar, and earth about this. So there might be some plot before we get this dude back
Oh god. I was *not* ready for this today, we *HAVE* to get old moon back. Even OM is better than what NM is right now..
I’m kinda conflicted on whether or not they should go through with getting old Moon back. On one hand, old Moon is now better than new Moon seeing as he’s fully gone ‘f*ck it, might as well be the bad guy’, but I really don’t want them to kill him, either. We, and the characters, have already been through ‘the death of Moon’ once and that was hard enough. Plus, I’m pretty sure that bringing back the old Moon is probably going to dig up so much long-buried trauma for Sun. I do somewhat understand current Moon - all he wants is his siblings to be happy, but he went about it in the worst possible way that ended up just hurting them. I think he may be too far gone now for them to bring him back to his senses.
I also would feel sorry for Earth. They might be on bad terms now, but she never really met the old Moon, so this one is the only Moon she’s ever known, and it’ll probably take a fair amount of time to adjust - especially since the majority of the things she’s heard about him is just the abuse and violence Sun (and to a lesser extent, Lunar) has told her about.
I definitely think that Monty needs to have a conversation with Moon’s family before committing to their plan, though. He is/was _their brother_ and I don’t think they’d take it well if Monty made such a serious decision without their knowledge.

In ways he definitely won’t be better but with the state Moon is in now…
I'd say get Old Moon back. Resetting Moon would only lead to this cycle of going insane repeating over and over. And, well, we've seen what would've happened if Moon had never left a part of his killcode in Sun. Sun and Moon were happy. The only thing that had messed with Moon was the killcode. But the killcode grew a conscience, redeemed himself, but was killed. The old KC won't be a problem to Moon anymore. Sun and Moon would be happy. Things would go back to how they would be before Moon got reset, except for the fact that the family had gotten bigger. Old Moon coming back would also give Sun some closure. I have no doubt that Moon would forgive him. And remember, the only thing bad about Old Moon was the fact that the wacking stick existed, and that he was a lot more closed off. With Earth's help, he could learn to be better, and he would probably start to be nicer to everyone after what New Moon had put them through. And plus, I'd love Old Moon back. I missed him.

FINALLY. Monty is being useful and I no longer hate Old Moon. Im proud of him. He realized his mistakes in the past and he did change. The time out worked. DAMN IT MOON COME BACK. I forgive you.
We need old moon to back. I hate how everyone is feeling like being in depresssion they dont Deserve this or that. Old moon may have hurt Sun but sun still cared for him somewhat. Hopefully Monty can bring him back.

He literally went on that whole "kill Eclipse" mission because he wanted to help Moon. And when he found out the he had basically killed him, he broke down. And when New Moon first mentioned that he was gonna talk to Old Moon, Sun's voice got a lot more quiet, and was breaking. Sun had asked New Moon to share the message that he was sorry. And I bet $100 that Sun still listens to Old Moon's recording every now and then. It's kinda obvious Sun loved Old Moon. And after literally saying, "that's not my brother anymore" after talking to New Moon, he might agree with Monty's plan to bring Old Moon back.
OMG I SUSPECTED THAT WOULD HAPPEN
