@@NickTew my question is a bit in depth. I know the info is scattered among your videos but I’d like a concise list if possible. I’d like to know the minimum stats needed to get a viable spiritborn build like this online. I know there are thresholds that must be met with max vigor, resource gen, barrier gen, and core stats for paragon breakpoints etc. My issue with the various builds I’ve seen cropping up is how resource heavy they are to create. Tripple crits on most pieces of gear and such. I’ve held off on starting a new build as the last time I tried (once the evade nerf was announced) I was unable to get it off the ground due to various missing stats through paragon/mw crits/GAs. It would be useful to know which parts of the build, particularly ones that are expensive or time consuming to create or acquire like GAs, MW crits, and paragon levels, are absolutely critical. I think maybe there should be a variation of your builds that show how to reach these thresholds with minimum investment. The average person doesn’t need to push pit 150 and do 500 quintillion dmg. For consistency I think the gear should remain as similar as possible so that there is a clear upgrade path for those that are missing crits and such on items. Pointing us to a leveling build wouldn’t quite solve the issue (for me at least) as most the problem lies in missing crits and a GA here and there, not uniques/ubers. I know this has been quite the ramble but I hope I’m making sense.
@@NickTew despite following your build about as closely as I can with the games provided raw hide/obducite, I still cannot clear 100 billion damage. What parts of the build have the highest modifiers to damage that I should concentrate on?
@@crbuke 46+ for all builds. otherwise the size of the ring is smaller and it wont hit for example the barrier magic nodes or whatever board you are on
How important is Basic Skills on the pants? I have a pair of pants with +2 to basic skills but the GA was dodge, so I rolled the dodge to max hp (other stat is dex) Are these level 800 pants with ranks to basic skills better than a pair of pants with no basic skills but a GA in something worthwhile? (health, dex, etc)

Crushing hand size temper doesnt work right because kepeleke gives max size already for the skill. I think its better to use vortex size instead for larger screen pulls.
I just want to say, I was following a maxroll Crushing Hand guide and could barely do Pit 75. I switched to your build as close as I could without gaining any extra Paragon points and using only gear in my stash and cleared Pit 100. ...thank you!

Thanks for this build explanation. I am crushing everything in my path. This is my first build, where I use a core ability as a main attack. The speed I have in any dungeon is nuts. It put me at Torment II. I can almost finish a Level 50 pit. I just need some more health or something. I melt everything!!!! Thanks, Bro!
The other selling point of this build is the hitting sound is so satisfying. I also use the aspect that make the third crushing hand hit 10 times (it isn't dmg effective, but 100% visual satisfaction).
Does anyone else run into the problem where after you used up all your vigor, you have a hard time regenerating when there’s nothing else for you to hit?
The all rounder is an absolute banger, I'm finally cruising through everything, with heaps to improvise on the paragon. It wasn't hard to cap res or armor either. CH is so much fun.
@Nick. For barrier gen, Que rune gives 45%, CH gives 30%, total 75%. That part is correct. To hit 100% barrier, -u only need +34% Barrier Gen. 75%×1.34=100%.- Edit: CH barrier does not scale, so we need +56% barrier gen. And no need for CH size since weapon gives it max size.
The barrier from CH doesn't scale. So, the exact number you need is 56% (you need your 45% from the runeword to become 70% to reach cap, so 0.45 * 1.56 = 0.702). Tested this ingame just now to confirm (I could only test 57% vs 54%, but 54% doesn't reach cap while 57% does).
Other channels mention 34%, as in 1 / (0.45 + 0.3) = 1 / 0.75 = 1.333. In other words: not only do they believe that Crushing Hand is additive with Earthen Bulwark, but that it's then multiplicative with the amount shown in character info. When I tested with 33.2% then bashed the target dummy my barrier amount did reach the amount of life, isn't that the point? I saw no difference to when I added 4 barrier gems to way overcap, so I'm confused on what to believe and how to test.
The playstyle of this build looks nice. I wasnt sure how i should build my spiritborn because all of the options. But after watching this i think i know which direction i will take. I like the monk in D3 very much so its nice to see that you can do something similiar with the spiritborn.
3:31 at least for QV build, didn't it need 122% barrier gen..? So for CH build, it's 92% coming from gems and temper? Or did I captured that info wrong from few days ago
I hit for my first trillion today with a combination of crushing hands, quill volley and the aspect that causes vulnerable enemies to explode. No shroud of false death, no midnight sun, and no perfect 240+ resource for guaranteed overpowers. Also i dont use scourge either, i use toxic skin combined with exploit glyph to proc vulnerable on distant enemies before i even suck them in with vortex
Loving this build. My gear sucks so I'm only doing about 1.5 to 2 billion damage but it's still crushing. I noticed increasing health makes a massive difference in damage. Well also block chance. Super speedy for speed farming.
could someone explain why you put a resource cost reduction temper on the ring? shouldn't you already have 100% resource generation with the paragon, skills, intelligence and midnight ring?
ur build guides got me back into d4... to the point where ive hit a gear optimization wall that im ok with. At a certain point its time to put the game down but I loved playing this build and ur quill volley build
@@ImDwait ive been trying and Im either blind or high cuz i dont see big dmg difference with perdition or without it, still i havent figured out how i can fix resistances and armor below 1000, cuz i use yen blessing boots for all that sweet resistances in T4 but i really like the perdition idea for that 60% (x) extra dmg
@@mikephantom262 so tonight I tested heir vs harmony vs a legendary with affixes and aspect from this build in the video, and the legendary does the most damage. Not by a landslide, but I think the max life + max resource and binding morass is better. Fwiw my resistances are bad even after using soothing spices, but I'm still clearing pit 100 in about 4 minutes with no deaths. Armor is over 1000 though.

Silly question here perhaps but why are your dmg numbers in orange since you Overpower? On my char I've got a mix of orange and white (core skills cast twice don't overpower on the second attack) figures

I love that literally every streamer has insane uniques. the staff with both GAs and 3.00 roll. i did around 2000 bosses so far with a friend, we both never found a single 2x GA mythic, or 2x GA staff with 3.00, idk man, paragon 281 here btw kek

Could you do a video of the easiest and earliest way to get the continuous overpower? I’ve been stuck trying to solve that for a while now :/ idk what I’m doing wrong
If you have 245 vigor and can't overpower consistently it means you lack the ressource gen. There is this spreadsheet from Sanctum to use to see where you are at and how much you lack. The stats in game don't calculate ressource gen straight up. Depending on your roll on Midnight Sun, you might be missing a few % points there.
@Noriega74 my pleasure. You need to fish for the paragon nods that give you more of that. You need to have this through tempering on your legendary ring. Worst case use Yens Blessing for boots to have the affix. You will probably increase your dps as you will overpower consistently
I’m hitting 15 trillion so far using the starless skies. Put lucky hit to restore resource on gloves and put lucky hit chance on regular ring. Everything functions normally with the proper amount of lucky chance. Don’t know if this is a great idea but it’s working and I’m doing more dmg than I was before
How? This works with quill because it hits 8 times to proc the glove. But crushing hand has less lucky chance, when I tried its clucky AF. Is your resource lucky hit GA? What’s your resource generation %?
@@Eqnotalent no ga resource regen. But I got ga lucky hit on my regular legendary ring and ga lucky hit on my starless both triple master worked as well as 40 percent coming from paragon board. After all that it started to work properly against bosses. Now it’s always at 275
You have Centipede secondary spirit hall selected in "All 'rounder non-shroud" profile, and I'm not sure I understand why in the 2nd paragon board (Viscous Shield one) you spend 1 point to get a single Int node directly opposite of the Legendary node there (the glyph you're using doesn't scale with int). I assume both are mistakes? That's in the "All Arounder & Speed" link btw
Sorry, Im just confused. How did you get the skill 'Soar' when in the build you have no points in it? Also, the helm is a normal one (not Shako). Sorry for the confusion. Thanks.

This all makes perfect sense to me except the RESOURCE COST REDUCTION. Can anyone explain that to me? The way it's set up is that it uses all your Vigor per hit but then 100% gens it back. So what does the Resource Cost Reduction do?

It’s just because there are only so many slots where we can imprint aspects and there are better aspects than that one, so it gets left out. You can use it if you like it, it’s just not the most optimal choice
People keep saying you need 245 resource is incorrect, you will still see non OP damages in combat. You need 275, try and the difference is drastic. You also need 60% barrier bonus outside of combat to cap 122.22%

Wouldn't Kepeleke power just set it to its maximum 'natural' size? Skills like Rake differ in size depending on some conditions, I always figured skill size tempers would increase size beyond that.

I’ve been stuck in t3 with my quil build. I’m still trying to get certain pieces for the most optimal stats. Just struggling getting my damage higher. My survivability is fine. Thinking of switching to this build. I think the reason my damage is not high enough is because I don’t have enough barrier gen.
I am almost at BiS on Wudi's Pit Push variant - Nick keeps saying trillions but I do not see it at all or at least will there be a footage of it before i dump all my mats to rework and enchants
I made a second spirit born to spec with crushing fist, but then gave up cause I couldn’t get all the glyphs to drop haha. Totally agree that this is gonna be a better farmer especially for paragon. I also have a ga crushing fist skills glove, while I never managed to find one for quill Volley.
triple crit GA shako + 3 points into swift passive +1 from shroud turns soar to a 6 second cd reduced by 4 every time you use it (1 second effective cd because time spent in air) - Fell soothsayer's legendary power should increase clear speed shouldn't it? it's like a sort of explodey from POE It seems like it increased my clear speed (it also gives fantastic vulnerable uptime) interestingly from testing the boots that make your evade into soar IDK if it's all the cdr or the swift passive but I can basically perma spam soar evade with no cd

Very fun build, but how are you zooming from pack to pack so quickly? It's like you have an instant dash from pack to pack of enemies and I'm not able to do that with this build.
As long as Ravager is active, when you use Crushing Hand on an enemy you will teleport to it. Thanks to Prodigy's Tempo you are constantly resetting your cooldowns as you spam Crushing Hand. You should be casting Ravager and Armored Hide as soon as they are off cooldown.
Hello Nick, thank you releasing amazing content. I just had a quick question. I have 2 false shroud chest pieces. Both have a greater affix, one has a GA for dmg out of stealth and the other has a GA for resource gen. Which one would you recommend?
Quick question, got 252 vigor, 47% on midnight sun and 19% ressource generation... (55% when ravager is on). Thing is, i dont overpower at every cast. What am i missing ?
I can be very wrong here? ..But on your Mobalytic page...You have 2 version. One is NONE-Mystic of this build. Wich is the version that not using the Mystic Circle. But you have forgotten change the Glyph here on that version since you are still running Ritual? Wich I am preatty sure is not done in a None-Mystic version of this build? I can ofcourse be wrong here, and sorry if that is the case. ..But if I am right maybe you could look into it. And update this? So we can get the right version? So after switching my hotkeys around a bit to force myself to engage with Soar, I can say that the Soar/Intricacy combo is indeed amazing

Small improvement on the non-shroud versions: put a single point into Patient Guard (the +10% block chance passive). It's a bit more damage.

Because the rod does reduced damage based on the cost. So if the cost is less than the damage is higher

Everything functions normally with the proper amount of lucky chance. Don’t know if this is a great idea but it’s working and I’m doing more dmg than I was before
Yes this is the newest meta for crushing hands but not everyone has Starless Skies and the increase dmg doesn't really matter unless you pit push
How? This works with quill because it hits 8 times to proc the glove. But crushing hand has less lucky chance, when I tried its clucky AF. Is your resource lucky hit GA? What’s your resource generation %?
So you swapped Midnight Sun to ROSS? Seems like u will have issues with Vigor Regen.
@@Eqnotalent no ga resource regen. But I got ga lucky hit on my regular legendary ring and ga lucky hit on my starless both triple master worked as well as 40 percent coming from paragon board. After all that it started to work properly against bosses. Now it’s always at 275

You have Centipede secondary spirit hall selected in "All 'rounder non-shroud" profile, and I'm not sure I understand why in the 2nd paragon board (Viscous Shield one) you spend 1 point to get a single Int node directly opposite of the Legendary node there (the glyph you're using doesn't scale with int). I assume both are mistakes? That's in the "All Arounder & Speed" link btw

Volley is great, but Crushing hand is the most fun to play, is like Hulk smashing everything.

This all makes perfect sense to me except the RESOURCE COST REDUCTION. Can anyone explain that to me? The way it's set up is that it uses all your Vigor per hit but then 100% gens it back. So what does the Resource Cost Reduction do?
They say rod does more damage per hit when resource cost is lowered.

I still ask myself why noone plays with the aspect that poops explode balls on overpower. Is it badly scaling?
It's a lot slower. You need to walk over them for them to explode and your own skills deal more damage
It’s just because there are only so many slots where we can imprint aspects and there are better aspects than that one, so it gets left out. You can use it if you like it, it’s just not the most optimal choice
Could I use this guide for levelling paragons?

People keep saying you need 245 resource is incorrect, you will still see non OP damages in combat. You need 275, try and the difference is drastic.
You also need 60% barrier bonus outside of combat to cap 122.22%
which build ur playing with the crushing hjand exactly the all arounder and speed or pit pushing and max dps? and is it really more fun than quill volley build?
when having Kepeleke equipped, your crushing hand always casts at its biggest size. So temper CH size is a dead stat FYI. Othersiw nice vid!
Wouldn't Kepeleke power just set it to its maximum 'natural' size? Skills like Rake differ in size depending on some conditions, I always figured skill size tempers would increase size beyond that.

I have 255 resource unbuffed, every aspect most of the paragon and still do not consistently get orange damage, mostly just yellow.

It's the "Que" rune which invokes Druid's Earthen Bulwark skill. You pair it with Poc to trigger it whenever you spend resources (Crushing Hands)

I’ve been stuck in t3 with my quil build. I’m still trying to get certain pieces for the most optimal stats. Just struggling getting my damage higher. My survivability is fine. Thinking of switching to this build. I think the reason my damage is not high enough is because I don’t have enough barrier gen.

As far as I know the kepeleke always maxed the size of crushing hands so their is no need for temper?
I made a second spirit born to spec with crushing fist, but then gave up cause I couldn’t get all the glyphs to drop haha. Totally agree that this is gonna be a better farmer especially for paragon. I also have a ga crushing fist skills glove, while I never managed to find one for quill

triple crit GA shako + 3 points into swift passive +1 from shroud turns soar to a 6 second cd reduced by 4 every time you use it (1 second effective cd because time spent in air) - Fell soothsayer's legendary power should increase clear speed shouldn't it? it's like a sort of explodey from POE It seems like it increased my clear speed (it also gives fantastic vulnerable uptime)
interestingly from testing the boots that make your evade into soar IDK if it's all the cdr or the swift passive but I can basically perma spam soar evade with no cd

GA life, masterworks in life, resolve/resilient stacks, paragon nodes, elixirs, incense.
Very fun build, but how are you zooming from pack to pack so quickly? It's like you have an instant dash from pack to pack of enemies and I'm not able to do that with this build.
As long as Ravager is active, when you use Crushing Hand on an enemy you will teleport to it. Thanks to Prodigy's Tempo you are constantly resetting your cooldowns as you spam Crushing Hand. You should be casting Ravager and Armored Hide as soon as they are off cooldown.
What to do with paragon points if I'm over plvl 230? Just juice up the glyphs with more attributes?

Hello Nick, thank you releasing amazing content. I just had a quick question. I have 2 false shroud chest pieces. Both have a greater affix, one has a GA for dmg out of stealth and the other has a GA for resource gen. Which one would you recommend?
Quick question, got 252 vigor, 47% on midnight sun and 19% ressource generation... (55% when ravager is on).
Thing is, i dont overpower at every cast.
What am i missing ?

I can be very wrong here? ..But on your Mobalytic page...You have 2 version. One is NONE-Mystic of this build.
Wich is the version that not using the Mystic Circle. But you have forgotten change the Glyph here on that version since you are still running Ritual? Wich I am preatty sure is not done in a None-Mystic version of this build? I can ofcourse be wrong here, and sorry if that is the case.
..But if I am right maybe you could look into it. And update this? So we can get the right version?
