In 2022 I got 10.25 and in 2023 I got 14.50 in the IBPS PO exam. My main fault was the guess attempt and it led me to negative markings. I hope this year I can change this thing after following your path. Eagerly waiting for the 2nd part.❤

Nhi future Officer, skimming technique tb effective hai jb at least you have understood the whole context of the RC. Skimming is like "quickly going through the line". But you have to in-reality "read between the lines" to understand the RC. ✨️🍫

I disagree with you in some part. According to you there is no use of grammar but without the understanding of grammar descriptive writing will be tough. Even some match the coloumn questions require grammar knowledge. Also you said making list of vocab is useless but according to my experience it is very useful.

However, you have mentioned here regarding the Descriptive part saying - Grammar plays a vital role in Descriptive and indirectly Vocabulary too. ● I would like to inform you that 90%+ students who qualify IBPS PO & SBI PO Mains with handsome marks don't even know more than 10 to 15 rules of Grammar and not familiar with more than 50 words exactly. But still, they do perform splendiferous in the Descriptive section. ● For the Banking Exams, the Descriptive should be written simple and without any fancy highlighting of our own lexicon. Anyone can fetch toppers marks in the Descriptive section easily if s/he knows how to convey our thoughts in a simple manner and emphasise more on avoiding spelling mistakes. ● Grammar plays NO role in Banking Exams in achieving high marks in any Objective test (Prelims & Mains) and Descriptive part. I have students who have no less than 3k/4k/5k words under their sleeves but still can't score even 15 marks out of 30 in the PO Prelims English section. You can disagree as much as you want, but the truth is always hard to digest for some. ✨️❤️

Focus more on reading as it helps in developing understanding as required to tackle these segments in mocks and exams Also, keep attempting mocks (full/sectional) daily, mainly English. ● After submitting the mock, make sure to meticulously scruitinise why it went wrong and understand the reason. If you are making vocab based questions wrong, then there is no need to be worried as the vocabulary part is impossible to grab (thousands and lakhs of words are there).
