It is 5 months until Beijing 2022 and as coach Romain Haguenauer puts it: “There is a mountain of problems to solve” technically, artistically and physically for the athletes to be ready.
In this second episode of the weekly series On Edge, get an intimate look at how the coaching system at the Academy operates and what it takes to prep the athletes’ programs. Madison and Evan reveal their new routine theme and work on the costume design. Olivia and Adrian perform their new program in front of the coaches and training mates for the first time.
Filmed in the last six months leading up to Beijing 2022, On Edge is the Olympic Channel’s first weekly ice dancing reality docuseries chronicling the day-to-day lives of six teams from five countries training at the Ice Academy of Montreal.

It's wonderful to have the opportunity to follow athletes through the real challenges they experience in their quest for optimal performance. A refreshing serie that opens us to a whole new perspective of figure skating. Can't wait for the next episode on Tuesday!

@@thewaitisogre so do s/k but p/c are still gonna win olympic gold. s/d so far have better scores this season, europeans will be a bit hard, but s/d are the only spanish team to get a gp medal this season so far as well. i think they have the momentum.

I always found ice dancing too subjective. Now with the "new" scoring system it's less so I guess but still, we all know who is going to win the gold in Bejing. That's no fun. Yes, P+C could fall all over the ice and not medal but that's not gonna happen so, I'll stick to watching the pairs skate
You don’t need to announce what you’re not watching. It really doesn’t matter to us.
Quite the contrary me and quite a few other people think this is the most exciting year to watch ice dancing.
