There was an effort to not reveal the client advisor’s name but it was stated.
I totally get this. I ordered a pair of gold earring studs and one of the posts were bent, brand new. No, its not a big deal. No, no one will see my bent post but like you said, if I'm paying full price-I should be the one doing the wear and tear. I never reached out to T&Co and for the entire year I was annoyed every time i would reach for them to wear them because of the bent post. I was like I should have said something. A few years later, I ordere a pair of sterling silver studs. (i dont have a location near me, nothing in WI so I order online)
The pair of studs arrived and it has a bent post. Again, no one will see it but....I am spending my money on a brand new set of earrings...I dont want to receive a new set bent. And then I thought well, it's only sterling silver, not as much as my gold ones I am not going to call and say something. BUT lesson learned when in doubt, reach out because it still bothers me 🤣
I feel like I take pride and good care of my pieces and handbags and when there is a flaw from the beginning I know it will bother me so I need to start speaking up.
Omgosh, yes! You're so right! It doesn't matter how small the imperfection is. For the prices they charge, there shouldn't be any imperfections at all. But yeah, I know how you feel about not wanting to speak up. It's like, we know we're justified in doing so, but it's still hard. I get it. I'm in the same boat and sometimes I still have to force myself to not be intimidated and just speak up for myself. Thank you for sharing your story, because it definitely makes me feel better knowing that I'm not the only one! :)

You might try a small piece of tape on the back of the diamond key to reduce wear and scratches
