      @@michellebrown3636 do you have the suction cup and pick?

      i’m sorry, but what you are saying seems impossible. Because if you have heated the back glass of any smart phone for at least one minute on the house setting on any hidden gun, you might be able to remove the back glass or at least have a gap between the back glass and the frame of the device. I even think if the black glass was sealed using superglue hitting the device for at least one minute using the highest setting on a heat gun is probably going to make the back glass soft enough for you to start the removal process.

      so currently let me know what is the state of the device is the smart phone OK is it still working without any issues after you have tried?
      Number two what type of heat gun are you using? Is it a common hairdryer? A common hair dryer might take a little bit longer to hit the device. I was supposed to a regular heat gun like the one that I used.
      It is a bit hard to help with comments. If you want you can send me an email with pictures of what you currently have then I can try to help you out.

    Will it still be water resistant after this

    • @ersbit
      @ersbit  4 месяца назад +11

      Generally any repair front or back and going inside the phone will remove the water resistance!! Now to restore it you basically cannot as you would not have the machine to scientifically confirm the device is water resistant again after you finish the repair. Only shops and especially authorized repair shops have this type of machine to guarantee that the phone has became water resistant again.
      This is why when I finish these videos I don't say it is water resistant again as this would be a gamble and no scientific data to confirm it. Just consider the device no longer water resistant if you do it yourself. Light water splashing or light rain should "should" be fine but Submerging the phone under water will be a big gamble.

      Not sure dépend on where it is located and also if the Crack has pierced the plastic underneath the glass.

    what is the purpose of the B7000 ? is that recommended for water resistance?

    • @amukav5749
      @amukav5749 5 месяцев назад +1

      yup but can work, but not 100 % that u can put the phone in water i think

    • @ersbit
      @ersbit  5 месяцев назад +2

      B7000 would serve as reinforcement and may even increase water egress but I still would not consider the device as water resistant like it was new. Rain splash water etc...should be fine but fully Submerging like I did in my water test would definitely be a huge gamble 😅. The big issue is there's no scientific way to certify it to be water resistant without using the pressure machine to test like they did before sending the devices. You can test by Submerging it but again the risk of damage is high since you don't know if it is or not water resistant after the repair. If you got to a shop that guarantees their work as water resistant at least you can have them accountable if anything goes wrong.

    Can i put s24ultra back glass in s22ultra?

    • @ersbit
      @ersbit  6 месяцев назад

      No. Samsung doesn't want people to do things like that that's why they modify it slightly for the back to not have any backward compatibility.
