We will see what happens at full speed. Definitely pumped for the season. Something about his throwing motion. Seems effortless. At least looks that way.
The way everyone makes it sound, don't worry, he is super human. Doesn't need protection doesn't even need good receivers. He all-world and is going to dominate the NFL. Hope he does just that!
@@therealbenjamin789 how about Maye missing those “off platform throws” and Daniels making them? That’s not why they call Maye’s bad footwork when Daniels is good footwork? 🤦🏻♂️
@3eees off platform throws is nothing to be happy about it means you can't set your feet for the throw, JDs footwork was so good that he wasn't even in the top 10 for that made up stat line but still put up the 2nd best passing numbers.
I live in Oklahoma & as a Sooner Fan I never, ever thought that Caleb Williams was all that. Born n Raised in the DMV I am a true burgundy n gold lover. That being said I am grateful that we got the player that should have been the true #1 pick n the 24 draft. I recently heard through the grapevine that Williams is struggling somewhat at Chicago's ota's Wow... Imagine that!
Comments like he scary good, he looks like a veteran, etc...are funny to say during scripted session's. Truth is you being told where to throw to and who. It's repetitive motion stuff. I realize there isn't much to say this time of year, but it doesn't matter how anyone looks or doesn't look right now. Think back to RG3, he was criticized by the fans and media for slow reads during OTAs and he would have been sacked blah blah blah. He said while everyone else is working on their technique so was he. He wasnt working on bot getting "sacked" in practice. He was working on reads and letting the pattern develop. Soon as the season started he killed the saints. Let's wait till the preseason games come and go before we say he's killing it or anything else.
yeah im actually very interested in his actual straight line speed, not that its that important, but he should be close to the fastest qb in the league and its not really talked about
He very well be the superstar from this class, not Caleb Williams. His running ability is going to open up the throwing so much and he can throw darts.
Wonder what he can do when his receivers aren’t the best players on the field. He had 2 first rounders at LSU but he got all the credit. In DC his receivers are fine but that’s really not a great sign. People need to stop inducting him into the hall of fame before he takes a single snap. Let’s be real he was a weak heisman, never really stepped up when the games mattered, just a bust waiting to happen
Terry is very solid and Luke had the best hands in the whole draft class in contested catches... Dotson can at least get open. Ertz is a baller. BRob and Ekeler are the tip of the top of passing down back efficiency. Pretty sure BRob caught over 80% of his passes last season. He could literally chill and do nothing and steamroll this offense. Between a mobile qb and the fantastic rb room he's got a cakewalk in terms of tearing the box defenses up with his passes.
Neither receiver was that highly thought of before he got to LSU. They weren't putting up monster numbers with the guy before him. I think they all helped each other elevate their level of play.
@@maskcollector6949 in college his receivers were far and away the best athletes on the field. His number 1 guy went in the top 6. Love his throwing form
That's why a lot of us have been pushing for him since Drake Maye was listed as #2 overall. Ahaha
He not going to last long in the NFL he want be able to handle the hit Richardson is 50 pound bigger an he couldn't make it one season with the Colts

His whole practice seems effortless compared to other teams, maybe that's a concern

Thanks, dude. I'm glad to see you guys having success. Like us, your fanbase has been through it.
Thank you! We finally excited. Y'all turned it around quick. (One of the best to do it was Megatron!) Dan's gone and we got ballers.

How in the literal fuck did people want Maye over JD5???? The footwork alone is eye opening just how bad Drakes feet are
Because they call bad footwork "being good at off platform throws" when it involves a brother gunning for the same spot
Right! That's why I trust what the current GM & the rest of the management team are doing.
Racism brother, Racism.

It’s their job. Relax
what else can the reporters ask tho? they have to come up with content

For what standing there throwing around what is this pro day on repeat, where's the actual drills, and getting pushed hard?
@CoryD_85 I hope you realize they are probably doing that it's just the commanders aren't letting the media in every single day
I can't wait to see the "vet" like throws under pressure from defense.

Vet like throws?!!!!!!! Lol
