Well I was certainly planning on making a room tour, however I am currently not in Vienna and will probably not be for another while till this Corona situation dies down. I´ll do it at some point, don´t worry :)

Hello I am from the UK and I am thinking about doing a masters degree at WU. Can you please do a video about common sterotypes about WU students and WU as a university. It doesnt have to be too serious, it's just to further understand the culture and how the university is perceived.
Universities in Mainland Europe aren't necessarily advertised as an opition here in the UK, and I find the student culture and student vibes of different universities here quite interesting. Maybe you can provide some insight into that aspect of life at WU? 😄

which is the best supermarket to shop for groceries? I'll be studying in Vienna for 5 months next year :)
Depends on what you are looking for.. There are turkish and asian supermarkets as well as some big austrian branches like "Spar", "Billa" as well as "Penny" or "Hofer" and "Lidl".. If you are on budget, I would recommend Hofer and Lidl but all in all groceries are quite expensive over here.

Hey! Bin mir nicht sicher ob du noch aktiv bist, but lets try:) spielt the OSA eine große Rolle bei der Aufnahme? Man kann sich ja auf ein Aufnahmeverfahren vorbereiten, für die OSA's kann man dasselbe doch nicht sagen. Danke schon im Voraus:)
Hey, bin da :) Also OSA ist nur für dich relevant. so kannst du sehen ob du für die WU geeignet bist. Es wird nicht von der WU geprüft.

Heyy, i wanted to ask does the “austrian” german differs from the “german” german? And if yes, how big is the difference? I’m learning german and i want to study in Wien, but i watched some videos about the differences and got scared:”). And in the Uni lectures does the professors talk in austrian german or in german german?
Lora DW if you still need an answer, it’s exactly the same. You won’t have problems understanding Austrians if you know high german
FreakRaider thanks for your answer! Considering a move to Vienna but also nervous about the difference between Austrian German and hoch Deutsch. You genuinely think it will not be an issue? I would say I speak intermediate high German
@@adrianm9723 in Vienna people dont really speak dialect and if its not that strong. The difference between german german and austrian german is like between british and american english. Few words differ, but mostly words for food, so no big problem and you will figure that out quickly. And: people will know what you mean even if you dont use "austrian" words for it. You shouldnt have a problem:)
