- Let’s discuss Solo Race vs racing as a Team in the Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers event, some new features, some clarification on prizes, and more!
Monopoly GO added the option of racing solo against 3 other individuals versus racing as a team of 4 against 3 other teams of 4 in the Tycoon Racers event last time. So let’s talk about the benefits and disadvantages of each.

I did the Solo race the time before the last race because I'm tired of playing with other members who are on my team and 2 out of 4 players do little or no work so I have never placed 1st.
Will continue playing Solo because I won against other single players and finally got to reap the rewards/benefits of 1st place🍾🥂 🎉😊
Previously I just participated just the last race as a team n got 1st with 20 points.. I still got the token but as I just run the last race .. instead of the wild sticker I got a purple n the blue pack and emoji… it’s not too bad though… since I still a long way in to the 2nd album in the previous album..

The last 2 races i played the last day only w/my family. We didn't team up until the last day. Only bad thing was that the last race had a wild but I couldn't win that only playing 1 day. We did get the swap pack.

Last race I did solo on my main account & won every race and go the lower color sticker packs…I actually don’t know if the laps were different or not…I’m gold locked needing 2 golds on main account…I still haven’t decided which way to play..I really don’t want to loose a lot of dice…
Oh, that lucky rocket playing solo, they choose 3 of solo players to play against…if one of them got to the lucky rocket first, then no one else got it..

Looks like they fixed the glitch of not letting people play for the flags. Monopoly go handed out 200 free flags, not much, but everything helps out

Hey, have you noticed APM getting almost harder? Like the rewards taking more and more dice? I don't know if it's that or I just haven't had as much motivation in the game lately
Can't get behind this game at all, not playing, just doing dailies till this is over!
Forgot one important question from that list. What do they plan to do with boosters? Makes it unfair for those who actually may need those packs.

This is why I hate this event, the race just start 3 hrs in and one racer has over 30k points, what is the point of doing this event at all.
Skipping.. it’s a dice guzzler with no end game. People can score up to 100K or more points. Not to mention swap packs have been terrible for me.
If teammates don’t help that much but I still think teams are the best bet cause of prizes

The last 2 races at least had a Wild sticker as the prize, as well as the swap pack, so that was a bigger incentive since I was gold locked and it helped me finish my whole album and get the 10k rolls. This time, there is no Wild, and that's not as worth it to me to waste the rolls. I wonder why they changed it. It really sucks though.
Hey I’m sure in one of your other videos you mentioned about the game being predetermined so your roles are already decided. I’ve found that when I use APM on my other device, the roles are different is that normal or should they still be predetermined? No matter what device I’m using or whether I’m using a VPN. Thank you!!
@@d3fuz318 they should only change if you change the multiplier you roll on
@ is that rolling on a different multiplier or even switching through the multipliers? I don’t recall changing it whilst trying this. But thank you
@shawna01515 I have noticed that you have to be very careful when you change from one device to the other. I’ve observed in some cases the live game lags behind sometimes several rolls so it can really mess you up if you start in the wrong spot in the live game. I have begun writing down everything about the roll so if the live game comes up in a different spot from where I left off on my apm device, I can manually catch it up to the right spot. I’ve lost progress in the game when I start in the wrong spot in the live game. Don’t know if the bald guy is throwing interference or if there are internet issues that cause this problem. I’m getting carpal tunnel from writing so much & it slows things down but it has paid off several times. Are you noticing this, Shawna?

@shawna01515 I've been trying to trade all day for 'local art" about 50 rejections today. People asking for 12☆ or even more. If I have an extra gold I ask for even trades.
@ me too! For golds I usually ask even but I had a trade set up with a friend this morning and they offered and sent 1-5 star, 2-3 star and a 2 star for one of my gold. It was more than I would have asked but they offered
I feel I am just going to do like I have for the last 3-4 whatever flags I acquire I will collect the cash at the end of the game. I am gold lock needing two fours and one five star. I could do the solo and get the opportunity to get the final two fours I need. Not completely sure yet what do you all think if you were in my position ?
@@tammydaniels170 I’d say go solo if you’re not wanting to participate much and don’t want to try for the swap pack and purple pack. Get those lap rewards with whatever flags you get and maybe end up doing better than you expect.
Knowing my teammates, I’ll continue to go with a team so we earn more lap rewards and I’m not too concerned about where we end up when it’s done.
I need 1 4 star gold and 2 gold 5 stars so i'm going for full race in both my main and alt.
