At *2:07:25* you can see Adrian fist bumping me. Later at *2:07:36* you can see Steve doing the same. I was the first kid that got out of my seat and started dancing that song. Probably was the greatest moment of my life.
Easily the best audio and video of this tour! I had to give up to tix to a show last month and was seriously bummed. Thanks for providing a taste of of what I missed.
I attended the Las Vegas Friday night show Nov 8, 2024. Incredible show. Been to many concerts/shows the past 30 plus years. Top 5 ever. Come back please. So unique and different band than any other. The younger generation are into what you are doing because the consciousness of the matrix and planet is changing for the better. Frequency and vibration are accelerating and a quickening is underway. You 4 sounded so amazing. You did the right thing Adrian putting this together. One of my favorite guitar players. Tony, Steve, and Danny. What a lineup put together. You all looked like you were 45 years old on stage for real. Fresh and young and not tired at all from start to finish.
Great stuff. Thanks for doing this. A friend just attended the San Antonio gig tonight and I was able to use your recording to sync up with them and enjoy the experience with them, way down here in Australia...Especially enjoyed Steve's duet with himself in Sheltering Sky...
How the F is Adrian be able to retain his singing voice and be as clear as it is? Its natural for people as they age to change their speaking voice (and you can tell by comparing interviews over the decades), yet he still sings this set as if it was the 80's. Incredible
Great sounding audio, TopHats. Best of the tour so far. Mind sharing what equipment you used to capture the audio? It sounds IEM sourced or a very good cardioid mic. I recorded them in Portland and Seattle and will be sharing those.
@@sound-ur1bq You'd think. Since it's the VSO's home. I was sitting in the middle of row 6 in the balcony and found the sound to be pretty muddy up there in the beginning. I felt like it was more dialed in for the floor. It was much better after the 20 min line up for the washroom tho...
@@carlfisher3924 yes i can understand, we have a venue like this in France, the Olympia, where the sound can be good upstair but bad on the floor or the other way. It take sometimes for the FOH guy to get the sound right with peoples in there.
@@Woolookologie it must be an "inside job". Since the source had access to Tony's and other photos(backstage and from behind the kit). Plus the soundcheck images/audio. Too bad Steve wasn't clearer in the mix. Actually, I didn't find Danny that prominent in the mix either. But I think it has more to do with Adrian's sound being dominant.

Right on! The crowd doubted you at first, but you turned it into something really special to help close out the encore. Great stuff!
I did my part! Danced the entire time close to the front in Boston and in Lynn. Everyone was standing by the end of the show in NYC, too.
So cool to see people up dancing to these wicked grooves.
Fabulous. Ferocious. Fenominal. These are words with an F.
F yea !
What a treat! Not just fragments including the sound check with decent sound!!!

The boots from 10/25, 11/22 and 12/10 are also excellent.
merci pour la video une tournée en france ca serait magnifique pas que paris plusieurs ville vive le rock
Adrian’s voice… my goodness gracious
Smile of a waiting man.

日本公演、期待しています!お願いします!!
Best concert I've seen. Thanks for capturing this. I was sitting two rows directly behind you. :)
Best video out there ! I was ther with my son and this was in my top 5 shows for sure! Thanks a million!
😀
I was sitting a few seats to the left of you. An amazing show! Loved seeing Vai's take on Fripp. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video! These guys are damn good. Thanks for posting!
Incredible concert, what a beautiful wall of music.
One of the top 5 shows I have ever seen. It was simply fantastic.
Me too. Only Paco de Lucia's final tour show holds a slightly higher place in my heart. The audience was fantastic, too!
So wonderful to hear side 2 of 3 of a Perfect Pair performed; with "Nuages," some of King Crimson's most inspired bonkersness.
The stick sounds sublime!
Saw them in OKC. Wish it sounded this good. 😆
Such a good show... historic tour... Saw em in Vegas before this gig. Thanx for your efforts on this recording!
I was there! Fantastic show! Waited many years to hear these songs live!!
Brutaal
stunt guitars from Steve Vai ! Franck must be dancing actually
I was not as familiar with the songs in the 1st set, but they are definitely worth hearing!
by far the best outfit steve vai has ever worn 😄(1st set).

Seems like a relatively healthy guy who doesn't smoke. Agree he still sounds great.
Great DC closeups
Love u man
Steve Vai is very humble before that massive Crimson Tower and I like it
Danny’s part in Sheltering sky is getting more complex. Steve and Adrian’s interlocking parts, too. Last show next week! 6th row on Tony’s side!
killer upload..............how is it I'm hearing such defined Stereo? Are you getting a mix out of the FOH desk?
Agreed. Phenomenal sound separation for what appears to be only a standard video phone/camera set up.
Wandering myself the same. Looks like a mobile capture, sounds steady from the board. What’s going on here?
This is incredible sounding! How can we get the audio of this show (not the RUclips audio, the original audio that was used for this video)?
what have you got to trade?
I love this guys with all my heart but they sound like kids without their dad

it tells a lot of the actual sound in the venue, if not the sound board !

Right, this sounds incredibly crisp to the point I'm pretty convinced it's straight from the soundboard.

Amazing! Whats the audio source?
ouf, thank you, they have gone far, poor europeans we are !

This is a dangerous place...for insurance CEOs.
Hand in front of the camera at least twice!
