i booked my flights to S Korea from the UK, the KTX train from Seoul to Busan and hotels on the off-chance I won a ticket. Tickets were allocated via a raffle and, to my amazement, I got one. Everyone there was on their own and the verification process meant we queued all day in the blazing sun - literally from 10.45 until going into the stadium at 5.30. My wonderful husband stayed with me all day till the moment I went in. All the Armys were friendly and chatted in the queues. I was standing in the section front right of the stage and had a side view of them on stage and had a huge screen right in front of me. I feel so privileged to have been there for their last concert before enlistment. It is difficult to pick one moment as my favourite. Hearing their voices live was an unforgettable experience. They are true professionals when performing but so funny and natural when chatting to us. I loved Dope as the crowd went wild, but Army singing at the end of Spring Day even after the music stopped was a very moving experience. Definitely worth being on my feet for over 10 hours that day- despite being 62 years old! 💜

What an experience! I was lucky enough to get tickets to their PTD concert in Las Vegas - Day 4. At the time I was sure it would be the last OT7 concert for awhile with the military enlistment starting at year-end. One of the best concert experience in my life. I’m 51 so been to many concerts. So glad they had one more OT7 concert and you were able to go. I’m looking forward to 2025.

When you've worked together and lived together for almost 10 years it becomes second nature for them to have a synergy second to none.
As per usual with BTS the lyrics for Zero O'clock are so profound. You should check them out.
The light sticks are called ARMY bombs and they do need to be purchased but then you sync them via Bluetooth to your seat/section. Their pattern and their light color is controlled electronically.

And most recently Jin released his first solo single called The Astronaut which he co-wrote with Coldplay and got to perform it with Coldplay at their concert in Argentina. Jin will be enlisting in the military soon for 18 months as military service is mandatory for all able bodied men in South Korea so he made this song as a goodbye for now to ARMY before he enlists. The other members will enlist after their own solo projects but they plan on reuniting in 2025 after they are all done serving.

What they didn’t really show in this video was the fleet of lighted drones making shapes and pictures above the stadium that could be seen from the beach miles away, and the holographic butterflies that were flying around the audience. Also a fireworks show that puts the 4th of July to shame. I’ve seen BTS live in concert twice. It’s not just a concert, it’s a whole show. Of the two, my favorite was in LA, it was the first live concert they had been able to do for nearly 2 years thanks to the pandemic, and it was super emotional for both the fans and for BTS. There was an energy in the stadium that night that I have never felt before. I imagine that will be similar to the feeling of their first performance when they return from their military service.

I saw them at alligent in April. It was an EXPERIENCE. I took my daughter because she’s been “army” for years but I found myself so throughly emersed in their concert. 40,000 people singing along… every word whether in English or Korean, dancing, the army bombs connected to the concert (the light balls, as you called them, yeah they interact with the performance), the fans who dress up in outfits that are tribute to different pieces of BTS’ history or are a nod to their “bias”. It was such a positive environment and something I will always be thankful I got to share with my daughter.

Besides Jin being actively sick, they had all just done the live heavy singing and choreography for Mic Drop, Run BTS, and Run. They are wet with sweat and invisibly exhausted. I don't know how any of them got a note out. These are seven phenomenal men.
    Ace reaction, thank you.
    💜💜💜❤💜💜💜
The meaning of Butterfly's lyrics is very beautiful and strongly emotional, and if you understand the lyrics as you're singing, that feeds the emotion you project.
Butterfly is one of four heartbeat-tempo BTS songs I have on a playlist that help me do some respiratory rehab. When I sing them with a pulse oximeter on finger, blood oxygen goes up and heart rate normalizes. The structures of all four songs optimize the singers' opportunities for breathing. The meanings of the lyrics support the strongest breathing opportunities. All four songs are intelligently constructed with feeling and singing at the fore. The four songs are:
*With You* - an OST for drama Our Blues - Jimin and his friend Ha Sung-Woo.
*Butterfly* - BTS B side and BU storyline track
*Magic Shop* - BTS B side
    *Mikrokosmos* - BTS B side
I'm using color coded lyrics videos, so earning to sing the Korean and understand the meaning simultaneously. So happy I've learned this snippet of the Butterfly chorus "...Butterfly / Like a butterfly / Machi butterfly / Bu-butterfly / Cheoreom..." by heart, so far.

I used to play mono to fall asleep on my insomniac days. Would play it from the beginning and by the time it reaches forever rain I would feel my eyes shutting down.
The beats in that album are so relaxing cus it always reminded me of a heartbeat plus rms voice is so soothing.

In Vegas I was really impressed by Jin’s singing. Everyone was always great but those were my surprise/standout memories. And at 45yrs old, I have seen some of the older boy bands among others- bts was the best live by far….my favorite moments- outro tear by rapline, truth untold by vocal line. Plus the entrance of the show- they did not today and Dionysus back to back which are both extremely high energy, heavy choreo songs. They maintain this energy for the whole 2.5 hrs which is mind blowing 💜💜💜

@@crystalsnow1138 ooo that is hard to pick....when I saw them in 2015 in NYC Times Square the concert was amazing but it ended abruptly due to death threats Namjoon received over twitter. Turned out to be a hater causing trouble and no real threat but that wasn't known at the time and no one knew why the concert ended at the time. Cypher 3 was so hard at this concert that you literally could feel the whole building shaking from everyone screaming and jumping. Then, I saw them in ATL for the Highlite Tour which was a disaster as far as tours/promotions go cause the promoter lady ran off out of the country with the money, etc. etc. etc. But, this one was such an experience. First, we waited outside in the rain for 7 hours and had to walk like a mile to use a bathroom at a gas station while someone held our place in line. By the time we got in, we were all drowned rats. However, it was a small venue and you could be so close to them and see them so well. AND, we got to shake each of their hands afterwards. I think I tweeted about it back then...about how soft their hands were and such. Also, met some amazing ARMY at both of those shows. Then, I saw them several times during different concerts at the Prudential Center in NJ. The WINGS concerts were amazing...especially Jin performing Awake. I literally got full body goosebumps (1st time in my life) at both shows I attended. I still get goosebumps but not as bad when I hear that song. That takes us up to MetLife stadium in 2019. I live in TN but the reason I always went to NY to see BTS is because my in-laws lived in Manhattan. My mother-in-law used to pay for my tickets, airfare, hotel if I wasn't staying with them, etc, etc, for when I wanted to go see BTS. She was the only irl person who supported my ARMY life. So in 2019 she gave me money to purchase BTS tickets when the went on sale and I did...then she passed away. It was so heartbreaking and unexpected. I doubted whether I could attend the concert because I was afraid I would just be a slobbering mess thinking about her the whole time. But then I finally decided to go cause I knew she would want me to go and enjoy myself. It was a great concert. I wasn't sad like I thought I would be, instead I was comforted. It may have not been my most exuberant experience but it was extremely meaningful and I felt very self reflecting during it. I had tickets for 2020 in ATL but as we all know, that tour was cancelled due to the pandemic. So, when I heard that they were going to be performing in LA, I was determined to go see them. I am 50 and not in very good health. It is difficult for me to travel long distances due to pain but I did it. There was nothing going to stop me. So, I saw all 4 nights at SoFi stadium in LA and absolutely loved every night. I spent a week in a hotel by myself and just enjoyed my time. I couldn't do a lot of sightseeing and such because I get tired easily and again, have a lot of pain, so on days that I didn't have a concert I just lounged at the hotel and watched a lot of BTS content on my laptop. SoFi left me feeling rejuvenated for a few months afterwards. I really needed it. For me, it was an "ok this might be the last time I get to see them live so I am going to make the most out of it". I wasn't able to travel to Las Vegas or like I said SK to see them and I didn't get to go to Lollapalooza for Hobi but I do hope to see them in concert again one day and make some more memories.

Your are correct in calling their concerts immersive. It’s truly a wonderful experience to be part of the purple ocean. That’s what we call being surrounded by other ARMYs at a BTS concert.
I’ve been lucky enough to seen them 6 times: Chicago @ United Center & MetLife (1st stadium concert) in 2018, 2x @ CitiField in 2019, 2x @ SoFi. Was suppose to see them for the MOTS ON:E tour in 2020 but stupid COVID got in the way. All I can say is that you cannot just go to their concert once, you must see them at least twice. I had tickets to the MAP of the Soul concert 🎵 in DC IN 2020 that got cancelled. My seats were floor right next to the stage. I was devastated when it was cancelled. Then had to FIGHT to get any seats at all for Permission To Dance in La. Was very disappointed I wasn’t floor again near the stage. But SOFI is gorgeous and clean and I had 200 seats this time which were not terrible. I met an Army that I met online and sat with her and enjoyed my mini vacation with a new friend. My favorite performance was Black Swan - GORGEOUS! Also the mix they did of Fire was very funky and I loved their outfits for that in the beginning of the concert! They had sn interpreter so we could understand what they were saying in their “ments” and it was emotional for me. The concert that is on Disney+ is the actual concert I went to. Was a blast and I hope I get to see them again. I had never been to LA before so that was fun flying across the country. I would do it again if I had to.

I saw them 2 times at SoFi last December and once in Las Vegas in April this year. The entire experience from pre show (BTS music videos on the big screens) throughout the entire concert is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. You kept mentioning professionalism and I think that is spot on perfect to describe it. It’s a finely tuned machine top to bottom. They think of every last detail and it’s incredibly immersive. I’ve been blessed to have seats near the stage at all of the concerts I attended, but I know they make those in even the farthest seats from the stage feel like they are part of the show and very much appreciated. They’re just different. They are incredibly humble despite their massive success and they give 110% every show. EVERY SHOW. My daughters are 14 & 21 and my 21-year-old isn’t ARMY but she went to the Vegas concert with us and said it was the best concert she’s ever been to (and she’s been to a lot for her young age!) despite not knowing many of the songs. It’s hard to describe. You sing along, laugh, cry, and just rock out for 3+ hours and it’s truly amazing. Can’t wait until 2025 to experience it again and just sad I missed so many years of BTS before I became ARMY in 2021. Absolute favorite band ever. Thanks for always recognizing their talents and professionalism! 💜

Imagine doing a concert with that kind of production for free. That's why we love them so much. They always put in 200% whether it's free concert or online concert during the pandemic where they performed in front of no audience.
I was so fortunate to be able to fly to Las Vegas from Canada in April to see their concert for my first time. It's a great concert. The production, the performance, the atmosphere were all top notch. I met ARMY that were flown from Australia, Indonesia, Japan and Brazil to see them. It was an experience that I will never forget.

Love your commentary! And you’re right, the excitement of performing in front of so many people never disappears. When you watch behind the scenes content you can see how nervous they are before going up on the stage, and how much performing means to them. They have said numerous times that the concerts are the main part for them as musicians. Taehyung specifically always tries to look at every fan, and many people say that he remembers faces for a long time and always notices people. They just love being with their fans so much.
This whole concert was very emotional for them, but we didn’t know it because they didn’t announce that they were going to the military until after the concert was over. They wanted to keep the concert in a happy memory instead of it being a “goodbye”, as they didn’t want to make us sad. But looking at it now, we can see why they chose these songs. The lyrics of Butterfly translates to:
“Will you stay by my side
    Will you promise me
If I let go of your hand, you might fly away and shatter
I'm scared scared scared of that
    I would stop the time
    Once this moment passes
That it might become something that didn’t happen,
    That I might lose you,
    I’m scared scared scared”
The upcoming time period is very uncertain for all of us, as we don’t know when exactly Jin will go to the military (although he must go by the end of the year) and how the others will proceed after him. We hope that they come back until 2025. Them announcing that they’ll serve in the military themselves was such a power move but it was also very risky because the government has been dangling the possible “military exemption” above their heads for years, and Jin admitted to have seen a lot of backlash over that, even though they never asked for it in the first place. The exemption isn’t even anything so special: many classical musicians and sportsmen get it, for contributing to the country. I think BTS contributed to their country enough lol, but they still decided to serve. If anything, at least after they’re done they will be more free to do what they want without having to worry about the government since then they’ll do everything that needed to be done. I just hope it all goes well really.
Oh, and since the vocal line sang Zero O’Clock and Butterfly for the fans, the rap line decided to rap something little different for, well… everyone else. They performed Cypher Pt. 3 and UGH, both songs with very strong messages. Here’s the performance with translation: ruclips.net/video/veAH2JznNNw/видео.html . Once you read the lyrics to the Cypher Pt.3 they performed, you’ll understand why it was such a power move to perform that song in front of all the officials right before announcing themselves that they’ll go to serve. And yeah, this concert was free but it was all funded by BTS and their company themselves, even though the concert was held in order to help their country and the city of Busan to win the bid for the WORLD EXPO 2030. This is all a very touchy topic but I hope they will finally be done with all of this after 2025. Until then, we will be waiting for them💜
Thank you for another great reaction, I hope you react to more performances from the Busan concert as well!

I haven't been to one of BTS live shows unfortunately. Not sure if you know this, but their full concert from LA last November 2021 is on Disney+ now but not sure how long it stays out there. It is their Permission to Dance concert. Worth a watch if you have access and a bit over 2 hours long. From that same concert you just reacted to the vocal line only singing, there are at least 2 other parts you should watch. First, on BangtanTV channel, the opening 2 songs MicDrop and RUN BTS are phenomenal and include all 7 members. This was the first anyone saw them perform "Run BTS" (it was a new song off their Proof album from earlier this year). Second, just the rap line (fan cam only) doing UGH and then Cypher 3 (which was their last performance of the latter song per RM) is crazy good.

"Hand out those glowing balls". Man do I wish they hand those out! Those are the ARMY Bombs. They sync with Bluetooth through your phone and connect to your concert seat and then they control all the lighting affects. I was lucky enough to see them in LA on Day 2 of their Sofi performances. It was so fun. I went alone, but you are never really alone. I met some great friends there and we still talk to this day. There is no favorite part of their performance. It is so different from the other performances that I have been to in America. No opening act, there were videos between certain songs so that they could change and catch their breath. I also went to a Blackpink concert recently and it is so different even though they are considered the top girl group. It was just something else.

I went to this Yet to Come Busan concert and it was AMAZING! The set list was really the best and we went ballistic when they performed RunBTS for the first time. The light globes are not handed out, they are bought by ARMY, cost around USD 50 each. But it’s needed for to fully enjoy a BTS concert as they change colors and patterns based on your seat location.

I've been to two of their sold out Stadium concerts. And it's hard to pick a favorite part. Yes, it is an experience. Being a part of the Purple Ocean of ARMY's, and feeling the energy exchange between BTS and ARMY. I love ARMY Time and Ending ments. PTD Los Angeles, my favorite performances were Blue and Gray that went into Black Swan, peices of ART I will never forget. Also, at the end of the concert on Day 4 when I was there, Coldplay showed up and BTS surprised ARMY's with the live performance of MY UNIVERSE.*
Also, PTD Las Vegas, My favorite was their energy level at that concert, and I was on the first level of seats up, so when the carts went around and they were singing Dis-ease, and Stay, and Telepathy, I was really enjoying that, and we got to see them up close when they rode by on the cart. Also, being there at the end of the concert for the announcement of their comback with their PROOF Anthology album. The whole stadium was elated. That was something I will never forget, and the fact that Las Vegas turned Purple for two weeks during the BTS concert series. It was four sold out shows at Allegiant Stadium, and I was there for the 15th, and 16th, and attended the Live play at the MGM Grand Arena for the 15th, which was fun. (I wanted to experience that once). It was a great fan experience. And the 16th in the Stadium.
If you don't know, BTS had a Live Play option for people that couldn't get tickets to their Stadium concert (LA and LV), so they could buy a ticket and watch the live stadium performance from a close by arena. Those got sold out as well. it was fun, ARMY's have access to fun merch that was only available to the Live Play. I highly recommend you attend a BTS concert when they come back in 2025. (After their military service is over).
*This concert has been filmed with cinematic cameras and will be in theaters on February 1, 2023. "Yet To Come" in BUSAN, South Korea. Check out the link for tickets. I got my tickets, I can't wait to see it.*

I've seen them in LA and Las Vegas for the PTD concerts and saw Agust D last night. You're right! It's an experience. It has actually ruined me for any other artist's concert. Army is amazing, handing out gifts to everyone outside, everyone so friendly (I go by myself), and the connection between the band and the fans is out of this world. The boys give their all at every show and you can tell how perfectly rehearsed and prepared they are for every aspect. It really is a serotonin boost. Some of the best experiences of my life!

I have seen BTS shows twice - once in LA last year (D1), and then I saw j-hope at "hobipalooza" in Chicago this summer. I recommend reacting to the full Lollipalooza concert; it was different but just as spectacular as a BTS concert (the lightsticks weren't programmed with the concert, but we all still brought them and just used the manual colors or left them white).
ARMY bombs (the lightsticks) cost $59 (US), plus shipping ($16). You can buy them at concerts, too, and almost everyone brings one or buys one at the concert. You pair them with your phone and enter your seat number. Lightsticks are a big part of K-pop culture. They pretty much all have them now and each group's lightstick is different. They are just amazing to see in person at BTS concerts.

Thank you for your informative reaction. I can see that you appreciate the music without necessarily understanding the words but a large part of the impact of BTS songs is in the lyrics. For example Zero o" Clock is about depression, when one is sad for no reason and offers the hope that when the old day ends and the new day begins things will be better. Please react to "Blue and Gray" that they did for MTV Unplugged. There are English captions and the passage with Jin and Jungkook harmonising is just heavenly.

This was a free concert October 2022 for the promotion of Buson's bid for World Expo. Buson wouldn't help with expenses and wanted it at an open beach area. Hybe decided that wouldn't be safe for fans flying in from all over the world, so they moved to this stadium and spent whatever it took to make it happen and limited the in person to 50,000. It was streamed online and I think somewhere else in Buson on big screens.

The "glowing balls" that you were talking about that the crowd has are called ARMY bombs. They don't actually give them out to fans, it's something that you have to buy on your own. It's a common thing for Kpop groups to design a lightstick for their fandom to purchase to wave around at performances (eg. concerts or award shows). The ARMY bombs are the BTS lightsticks and the most recent version has an app and bluetooth capabilities so that it can sync together in concerts. So there's someone at the BTS concerts deciding when to turn them on and off, what colours will be used at certain songs, when it will flicker in time to the music, and if different people will get different colours (this is sometimes used to create shapes or messages like BTS 💜 ARMY). So whenever you look at the crowd and see all of the lights, you know that every light is one fan. Also even though it looks like an overwhelming amount of lights/fans, not all audience members have an ARMY bomb (esp since it's expensive) so it may be more people than you would even think at first glance.

As an Army Mom since '15 maybe '16 tbh: That (albeit small in comparison) percentage of their 4.8 Billion fans world wide - aka half the World's population in 2022. Does me proud today. At 55 (presently) and a West Indian Mom forced into this world in '67. Grew up with black n white tv...featuring the first ever 'Boy Band'. Jackson Fives. When Micheal was not much older and Janet came later. Yea we had MoTown who ruled back then. But whether male or female - they were all adult groups.
Cut to Donnie Osmond and his brothers. The 'White Moron (oh sh*t...my bad) MORMON Version' who debuted close to the Jackson Fives and added a younger sis - Marie. Both ruled the airways and the number one DJ in all of 'Murica back then .."KC Kasem and The American Count Down on a Sunday afternoon." ...kept it moving. Around the world.
Cut to the late 90's. We had The Hanson Brothers. Their 1997 "MMMBop" ...as three blonde (innocent) young uns struck it BIG back then. Top of the charts...nominated for several Grammys. Why are they UNKNOWN to this day? Idiots decided to leave the record label that MADE THEM. - Def Jam Records ' strike out on their own'. So sad too bad. Who are they - to this day?
Cut to NKOTB..hit in 1984. BoyzllMen 1988....(hush - I love you)...BSB 1993. NSync 1995 - 2002. Am I missing something? Don't want to forget 'Menudo' a Puerto Rican Boy Band who were "Referred to as the "Most Iconic Latino Pop Music Band" back then. They were young. 11 yrs - 13 and when Ricky Martin KILLED us with his Grammy Performance "La Copa de la Vida"...and the WORLD DANCED THAT NIGHT?? ....Epic.
Point is: At my ripe old age? Experienced them all. Had ZERO INTEREST in ...what was that pitiful band of those three - JONAS BROTHERS......Nope. That their claim to fame presently is their youngest (Nick) marrying a Miss Universe (and well known actress from Bollywood) ? Good luck Priyanka...your Husband's music may have titillated their 'Murican Audience back then.
It BORED US WORLD WIDE....back then. I lie?
As for New Direction. Tried. Failed. Their music was also boring. UG........
Which is why when I first saw BTS in 2016. "VIDEO OF Fake Love'. ....this ad LITERALLY broke into my YT video and I was PISSED.. Who are these fools?? Never heard of them. QUIT. IT. kept checking my sh*t........this vid kept cutting n cutting in.
FINE - WHO THE FRIG ARE YOU...lemme WATCH.
Done and Done. Never looked back. Fell down the Rabbit Hole and as an Ole' Army Mom...who's been there from the Beginning of Boi Bands in the late 1960's...
I acknowledge Greatness (in my humble n subjective meaning). When I see it. Today.
Bts' fan base have superseded ANYTHING. Ever. In History that 'Murica have.. 'presently' or ever had..to offer.
WHO? Beyonce? Nope. Rhianna? Nope. Taylor frigging Swift? today?
Looking forward to their future tours but presently? Beyonce's 'Bees' who used to be a force to be reckoned with (before she gave birth to her twins and took a break) and going old School - Mariah Carey's 'Lambs....in early 2000's, pale in comparison as compared to our Army on 8th November '22. No need to mention Cardi, Lady Gaga or who - Meg The Stallion? .......
No comparison to our Boys - Who as a tiny S.Korean Boy Band with their accomplishments.. have added volume to the last two additions of The Guiness World Records and continue to break records. Said that to say: Just found you by chance BD.
And while we are subscribed to BTS' reactioners in here with millions. Always nice to find a new comer and while's it's the first vid/reaction by you....(I've seen)..mayhaps check it a 2nd time with English subs on? The words/meaning add 100% to their performance and Impact. Don't have to like them. Many do not. But to fully experience them. It is not just their dance moves/sex appeal/humility/modesty/love.. The words/meanings of some of their songs are.....breath taking.
What do you have to lose? 💜💜
Edit: Not because of need to correct grammar etc above. As an Army Mom and a different generation: I have noticed that 'Army' has a HUGE block of young uns....who have been 'used' in the recent past. By those who are in.....'control'. To ......USE in aid to either 'cancel' or cause those to lose their jobs in certain companies. if 'said persons'......said 'ANYTHING/posted/advertised' derogatory etc against BTS.
Noticed that happened last and earlier this year. AND SOME CASES WERE NOT WARRANTED. . Noticed BTS ignored that crap (as they should). When you are dealing with a 4.8Billion Army? Best to Ignore the Rabid fans. So... I SAID. What I SAID. No need to provide receipts. Google but please. Once YOU - get out of hand and BTS lose control of their 'Army'?
    I out.
Did not sign up for a group with fans who number more than half the world....to USE the Number Boy Band as a way to fulfill "Their Goals/Fight/Dreams". Since when did becoming the 'Captain' of their Main Fan Club grant you power?
Last time I saw that. Selena's Manager and head of her fan club killed her in 1995.
    Nuff said.
