@@gomstechtalks what permission do we need to check, I have asked our support partner and they are wondering if the "Set up Reporting Date for your own reports" option is an extension?
Yes, in order to consume web services API in Business Central (BC), you do require a Business Central license. The license grants you access to the full functionality of BC, including the ability to use web services API to integrate and interact with external systems. Without a valid license, you may not have the necessary permissions and entitlements to utilize the web services API features. It's important to ensure you have the appropriate licensing in place to comply with the terms and conditions set by Microsoft for using Business Central and its associated services.

STEP7 - Commit the changes by clicking on commit. Check whether our files are staged. STEP8 - Publish the branch by clicking on publish. STEP9 - Then we should go to browser and open repo of the respective customer we are working and there will be a pop-up button like create a pull request click on create pull request button. Hello Mam, The option "Set up reporting data for your own reports" is not available. This option does not appear in the assisted setup menu. Please help me to resolve this.
Hi when I load the page from the web service at Power bi this error appears: SalesInvoiceHeaderApi Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] OData: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.. The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed. '. How I can solve that, please?!!
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue: Check API Permissions: Ensure that the API permissions for Dynamics 365 Business Central are correctly set and that your service account has the necessary access rights. Verify Network Stability: Sometimes, intermittent network issues can cause this type of error. Ensure that your network connection is stable and reliable. Refresh Credentials: In Power BI, try refreshing the credentials used for the data source connection. This can sometimes resolve issues related to session timeouts or authentication errors. Increase Timeout Settings: Consider increasing the timeout settings in Power BI for the specific data source, which might help if the data volume is large or the network is slow.
