I'm not sure if they count as ambient videos, but I love the Critical Role Mighty Vibes videos! The music is super chill and the visuals have a lot of small fun details and easter eggs
I also *hated* mushrooms for literally my entire life. Then I started trying the "wild" mushrooms (oyster mushrooms, lions mane, etc) and I discovered that the mushrooms I don't like are actually the common baby bella/button mushroom/portobello mushrooms. I was with you all the way on taste and texture are horrible until last year, when I stumbled on a video from Miss Mina where she fried shredded oyster mushrooms in olive oil and garlic until they were golden. I tried it and it is now one of my favorite snacks the squishy mushroom texture is almost completely gone and instead it has a more jerky-like texture. The video is her "GROWING EDIBLE MUSHROOMS at Home! Episode 1" and the recipe starts at 16:30. The whole video is worth a watch, but the 1 minute containing the recipe is basically life changing
Lucy, I discovered ambient videos on RUclips about a year ago and started out with like a cackling fireplace one but my current favorites are the Christmas cafe, ones with rain or storms, or basically anything from Harry Potter or LOTR lol.
I heard the other day that the Netherlands was going into another lockdown and thought of you immediately. Here in Southwest Missouri, USA, we are not a hotspot and a lot of the restrictions have been dropped although a lot of businesses still require their employees to wear masks, customers don't. And I'm officially in love with your friend's cat.
A suggestion about acclimatizing to mushrooms... when I first moved in with my then-boyfriend, now husband about 20 years ago, I didn't like mushrooms. He snuck them into dishes either finely sliced or grated, and that did sort of work. I still won't eat them raw but I actually like them cooked pretty much any way now...
Your woods are magical and breathtaking. Your lunchwrap..well...I need to make that. Many times. It looks delicious. I'm sorry you are on lockdown. At least you can play boardgames with your friends. You are such a beautiful soul💜
As a Dutchie that lives abroad it was nostalgic to see all those Albert Heijn products on the table. I'm hoping to visit my family during the Christmas holidays, when the borders don't close. My favorite ambient videos are from Calmed By Nature - they do a lot of coffee shop videos and also "in a cabin" kind of videos. I love their sounds! They don't sound quite as looped as some other ambient videos I've come across.
I don't like mushrooms either, but I don't gag on them either, so I can try and it's typically in vol-au-vent (ragout?) here in Belgium and so, I deal with it, as it's my mom's favorite dish. And actually, I have grown to like them. Yes they're a little odd in texture, but... you get used to it. And if you can't, cut them up as small as you can. LOL!

Other nice ones are things like the Rivendell Library, or Loki's Chambers. I also enjoy seasony ones like Scottish rain and Summer forest.
My good friend moved to Amsterdam last year. She just visited me in San Francisco. I was thinking about her today because I heard about the lockdowns there in the Netherlands. I enjoyed your video. Seems like the mask policy in the Netherlands had the same trajectory as the USA. We are only required to wear masks indoors while shopping. That has been in effect for a while now. I'm glad to see the sun shining as that makes things better in winter I think. It's cold and rainy in San Francisco. I like your vlogs...They are calming and easy to watch. Thank you.

Hey! Have you tried the Super Stay Matte Ink lipsticks? I used to work in a hospital more than 12 hours at night and it lasted forever. Then with the pandemic I really missed to wear lipstick and then I realized my "work" lipstick would work. They don't leave the lips dry like others even though is matte. It might stain your facemask a little bit but if it is reusable (cloth) it goes away really fast, even faster that foundation stains. Just an option 🤷🏾♀️😊 I really enjoy your vlogmas!
I think you should try a crispy shiitake mushroom recipe. A local restaurant here has some & I order extra on the side. So flavourful & not slimey like many nonmushroom lovers can't stand.

_Filming Suggestion_ - Have a contrasting background instead of just white cupboards. The white/black dividing line seems to be one that gives digital cameras a problem of blowing out. In B&W film it would read as texture. Have a plain, single colour backdrop - it can be strong like fuchsia or a soft rose. You could have it as a piece of abstract art in your wall décor (a painted canvas in a birch frame). That way it will be integrated and not something you have to drape or roll out of storage every time you do a hair demo. And if that doesn't help the camera do its' job, maybe switch to a black and white film setting. It may show more contrast. And would definitely be a style choice (spot the film photographer...). The Grannies looked so good in black and white. Why can't we.

still wearing mask everywhere. I dont wanna risk myself or others. indoors we have to wear but some people dont wear outdoor. even when I visit my grandmother I wear it when I am with her. I dont wanna risk her. mostly staying at home, I am homebody so it wasnt that difficult for me.

Portobello mushrooms are the best gateway mushroom I think. Just sauté them in some vegan butter..trust me. :D
