Yela blends everything on TM3. ‘Drugs’ sounds like it could have been off Love Story. Then you got a song like ‘Special Kind Of Bad’ which is almost a hybrid between old school Trunk Muzik Yela and Love Story Yela and then you got ‘We Slum’ which sounds like he could have released it in 2009/10 and it would still fit his sound. Unreal versatility covering the entire span of his musical journey. Now that’s a true artist.
