Usually the more seasons an anime has the worse their openers get. *Looking at you One Piece* but overlord's openers just get better with every season with this being my favorite by far! I just wish more people would make a good english cover of this song because I've only heard maybe 2 so far.

im still believing OxT songs are about ainz, and in this song ainz acepted he went bananas, because he wants something but doesnt know what is, hence song title, the hollow hunger of the undead, meanwhile myth&riot are about albedo, Op 1: ainz doesnt know what happened but knows it has to find the truth and is forced to play the role of Overlord to protect everything his friends made(due to suzuki satoru(ainz real name) being dead inside until he met everybody in the guild) Op 2: ainz knows playing the role of Overlord is making him crazy and has to find a way to leave that world En 3: ainz soul/conscience is trapped in the limbo, repenting for his sins in complety darkness without sound only his memories(this could be a hint at suzuki satoru is dead) Now albedo En 1: albedo is in love En 2: albedo is broken due to realizing her love may dont be corresponded but still would do anything and everything ainz tells her Op 3: a broken albedo love become an obsession awakening the original sin(a mix of hunger and greed), with lust(either due to her love/obsession or lust be a part of the original sin), she is hongry, this could give us a hint of what albedo true form is, after all shalter mock her calling albedo a gorilla in her real form and having a forest down there Ed 4: albedo obsession has calmed and become love again and knows her love isnt corresponded but is still hoping, but it would kill her self at the end if isnt corresponded, i think renner saved albedo from her obsession at becoming friends due to both being similar in both loving a really dense guy why albedo is different from the other guardias(even the fucked up like demiurge and shaltear) to become like above? albedo was modiffied by semi dead inside momonga, his friends stop playing, the game with memories of everybody together was about to close, so in his goofyness, he accidentally broke albedo to some degree like he was, he wanted to have be loved by others due to being alone after his mother died when making his favorite food and he seeing his dying, this makes the ending 3 more sad, a person who wanted to not be alone be forced to be alone in the dark forever without the mercy of death due to be already dead
