I test drove a new MK8 2022 with the DSG-unimpressive. I had a 14’ MK6 and a 17’ MK7 with 6-speed manuals and loved them both. Just bought out my 2020 WRX lease and I will say the WRX handles better and has better power, but the GTI build quality is impressive. Hate the new all digital dash though-big mistake on VWs part!
In Brazil it will arrive costing 50 thousand dollars and it will still come without half the accessories, beautiful car, sad because here I know it will cost a fortune..
Meanwhile in Brazil you have the most basic Polo with a 77hp engine (gasoline), no leather seats, 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, 5-gear manual gearbox, no foglamp, no nothing, starting at f* U$17.000 in a place where the minimum wage is $260 dollars....... that is outrageous to say the least!
Maybe it's just a Polo, but it's a GTI, trust me, Polo GTI almost same fast as Golf GTI, because I have Polo GTI 2017 Remap Stage 1, I can beat any Polo 1.6 or 1.8 or 2.0 & Golf GTI stock, now this is 2.0 with new performance, I bet it's even faster & even faster with remap
É por isso que a volkswagen nunca mais vai ser líder no Brasil, nem sequer copiou a traseira do pólo , motor melhor nem debater. A concorrência aqui é muito mais interessante, que os tais "padrões" , aplicados pela marca no Brasil. Acordam pq vocês só vão comer poeira das concorrentes.
