I’m glad you checked this out. Yes, I had the same reaction as you did, so surprised of their cleanness. During the audition survival show, J.Y. Park was really harsh on the boys, nitpicking that they are not synchronized especially when Tomoya was the leader all the time, and so they have really trained to be in sync and do clean. After the survival show, J.Y.Park stated that he couldn’t compliment and was extra harsh to Tomoya, as he’s so talented and he was afraid that he’ll get lazy when he said good things to Tomoya. J.Y. Park also said that in the past, he couldn’t compliment to Rain for 3 years after his debut, as he was super talented, and was worried that he if he would compliment Rain, he’ll stop trying so hard. Actually Tomoya saw the interview of J.Y.Park’s, and he was surprised about it, but I’m sure he’s got the message and will keep trying hard. I’m very much looking forward for their debut.
throughout the survival show they were always given comments on straight lines in dance, wide movements, energy, interaction with the stage and camera, being the main character on stage and I think this gave them a very good result. I remember Ken at the beginning of the show and it was really bad but Jyp saw the potential and energy of a star in him and by the end he was one of the highest places. Tomoya is the one who always got the highest places and the best results from the very beginning and now he is an all rounder and leader in the team( I'm not a native speaker but I hope everything is clear)

I'm so glad you're keeping your eye on them! I have been continually blown away by these boys and their growth since watching the survival show. I feel like their potential is unlimited so I'm excited to see what they do next. As far as them all being Japanese, Ken is actually Korean, but grew up in Japan with his family. His sister is a RUclipsr who I've watched for a few years and she has mentioned that before, but I infer that he may be more comfortable with the Japanese language (or at least until recently since the group has been taking lessons and speaking in Korean as we saw in the two previous behind videos).
