We live in a world where everyone encounters fear. In hundreds of situations throughout scripture, God, knowing how much fear can cripple our lives, said “ Do not be afraid, I am with you, I will never leave you nor forsake you”. These were the exact same words I heard when I felt overwhelmed by fear. But God revealed Himself to me as “Shomri”, a Hebrew word for “protector”. This song was written as a reminder of who God is to us. It is an affirmation of His promises - to stir up our faith as we face adversities and to break every shackle of fear, in Jesus' Mighty Name.

I grew up in the streets, the streets raised me and made me a gangster, I was a blood, I sold dope. Been in shoot outs, fights, in and out of jail since age 17, I robbed people and got robbed. I was a drunkard, fornicator, I use to club and pop pills, but i had a encounter with JESUS while in jail facing 5-10 years.. and JESUS made me over again at age 23.. 8yrs later hallelujah I'm still free and born again, JESUS a mighty deliverer bless his Holy name

It's unfortunate that I find it hard to connect with God when I'm sober, but when inebriated I pour my emotions and hear his voice and reassurance. Today I became vulnerable with my husband and asked for his help and prayers. I haven't figured out why I have this internal struggle as I have received all that I asked from him. Yet some how I was not prepared for the transition. Whoever comes across thi please pray for me and like so I know Im not alone.

Hi, I got saved when I was 17yrs old. I completely understand the feeling. One prayer you could pray is that God bring you not only Godly friends but your destiny friends those meant to be in your life and uplift you and help keep you in Christ. Your soulmate friends, I’ve stubbled many times when I was younger and by the grace and glory of God I have my best friends. They’ve convicted me where I was wrong, prayed with me, fasted with me, cried with me. I am who i am today because God brought me to my destiny friends. There’s healing and anointing in this song. I’ve had asthma since I was 5 or 6, I’m 43 and my asthma has never just stopped. I listened to this song on Dec 5th and it’s Dec 23rd, I have not taken my inhaler or steroid inhaler one time!!! No question a miracle. Thank you for letting Jesus Christ use you as a vessel. I had never listened to this group until this song came to my feed, and like so many others, I listen to it many times over just to come into his presence. And the young man: WOW. This reminds me so much of a vision I had when I was about 7 years old.... Was sitting at an open window, watching the rain and thunder....worshipping.. Singing o lord my God... With No fear! And saw a woman, with long brown hair, kneeling down on a mountain top, singing in a language, which I thought to be indian( since my mother tongue is afrikaans) I was in awe of God.... Mom called me away from the window, and when I told her what I saw, she must have thought I was a bit dilly....
Now I am 40 years Old..... And after living in fear for a few years now, I want to cry now.... Realizing God was preparing me /us for a time like this, already preparing me for how he would guide me in raising my children in this time....
When I heard her sing in tongues, I recognized it.... It was SO similar... If not exactly the same!!

I heard this song last year on the 12th of November 2023 the night before my chemistry final. I was devastated, I felt like a failure and this song brought so much comfort to me. I remember crying at 2AM because I could not believe I knew nothing. But GOD!! He knew! He had a plan for my life. Today (4 June 2024) I am listening to this song in my university apartment. Honestly, I did not see myself making it to uni. We serve a living God. He indeed knows the plans he has for us. What a mighty God we serve.
