I swear I saw Zeta going for Alabama and I said to my friends: "I hope The Cog Hill's will be okay" And everyone looked at me funny. Then I realized they have no idea who I'm talking about. It sometimes feels like I've been friends with you guys for years. Sadly this is only in my head and I forget I don't actually know you. #cogsquadforever #peachesforpresident
Mary Carl, You are priceless. How many kids would be throwing a fit because they could not be playing video games. "I can deal with it ". You are a great example to every one.
My hubby and son are in Alabama from Florida to help y’all get your power back on!!! Just hang in there! We were out of power almost 2weeks here once when Cat 4 hurricane Charlie came over us. Was a looooooong night. Glad everyone is ok and no severe damage 👍😊
As many hurricanes as you’ll have been through, your going to be experts at getting prepared! ❤️ love you’ll videos! My 5 year old daughter loves it tooo!
So happy that everyone came through safe glade all of your animals are ok. Just one question where did nugget stay ? God bless your family love you guys so much 💖❤️💞💖❤️
I am so glad that you all were safe through the hurricane. I thank the Lord for keeping his hands upon you all. I have been through many hurricanes and I understand well.
Jason, so many of us feel like like you Brooke, Mary Carl, Peaches and Nugget are part of our extended families. I am so thankful that everyone is okay. Love you guys and stay safe!
These hurricanes have been relentless this year. Here in Minnesota the weather has been strange too we had snow on the ground for over a week it just melted completely yesterday way too early for us. 2020 has been a weird year.
WE IN INDIANA SEND OUR PRAYERS TO ALL WHO WERE IN THE THRESHOLD OF ZETA! WE ARE THANKFUL TO THE "COGHOLD'S" THAT ALL FARED THE STORM WITHOUT EXTREME DAMAGE...EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE YOUR WORK TO CONTEND WITH! IF I WERE CLOSER MAYBE I COULD HAVE HELPED! LISTEN TO THE ANIMALS , THEY SEEM AOK! THANK YOU FOR SHARING WITH THE REST OF THE COUNTRY! WE'RE STILL PRAYING FOR ALL!
The Lord was with you, so many trees but no building damage and all that rain. Glad to hear you family including the animals made it. Prayers to your and all the other homesteads that the storm touched. 🙏🙏🙏
We were hit here near Stone Mountain GA. We lost power for about 8 hours and had to replace a fridge full of food, but we did not have any damage to our house. I was awake from 4AM on praying and hearing trees pop and things hit our house, but thank the Lord, we did not have any damage. Schools were closed Thurs and Friday due to power loss, and the roads were a mess. That was the worst storm we've had as far as the wind is concerned. I am happy that y'all are safe and did not have much damage. Praise the Lord, we were both blessed! 🙏❤️😊Peaches is the only one I know that seemed to love the results of Zeta!😂😊
My last house was in a holler, I did appreciate the safety from the wind also the tornados that skipped over us. Now we're close to the top and i kinda tie off the 20 plus wind speeds. Nature, bloody in tooth and claw. Glad you all made it. Surprised peaches wasn't under yalls bed.
I want a coffee cup that says, Peaches on it. I love Peaches and was really glad she survived being sick!! Love you channel and how you guys are so honest and fun!
I was thinking about how so many go through a hurricane season every year.....we in calif have earthquakes but not seasons of earthquakes.....praise God that He got you through...
I'm watching this September 26 2022, and I must say this is my all time favorite episode of Cog Hill Farm. I have been watching your channel since January of 2021. But this episode is the quintessential element of why I love your Cog Hill family: Honesty, perseverance in adversity, and humor. One particular thing I love about your family is that your humor is a kind, and gentle humor. Y'all don't rip on each other, or anybody else. This world needs examples of kindness, and I so so glad to have found your channel.
So thankful all of you and your animals are safe and that the damage wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Living in Oklahoma, I can’t imagine having to worry about hurricanes on top of our tornados and ice storms! God bless you all! ❤️
So happy to see Ms. Peaches up and ok. She is going to be eating good from what I hear...lol Glad that many prayers answered. If we was close we would help you clean up. Well, I would be helping Ms. Peaches...Hugs and Snout kisses...
10-31-20, Jason, Mrs.cog hill, Mary carl, and all the animals ♥, I'm going to church ⛪ today and I will be praying for you and your family and all the animals 🙏 so no harm comes to you or your family 🙏 and your farm, god be with you 🙏 all,i love you ❤ 💙 all.
That was definitely one big booger of a storm. We just got the power back on. Storms usually don't scare me but this one...h-o-l-y CRAP! Me and the dog and cat were snoozing away and suddenly woke up to tree limbs slamming against the roof and back wall, the house was SHAKING from both the sustained winds and gusts. It was so loud! It was pitch black too because the power was out and a lot of rain was whipping into my face because the window was open right next to the bed. Worst. Wakeup. Ever. I'm still twitchy 3 days later.
Glad your okay and had as little damage as there was. 2020 has just been the year of Hurricanes in the south. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks for posting.
Hello Cog Hill family! So glad y’all are ok. We’ve just gotten internet service back overnight. So many here in Talladega and Coosa counties are still without power. We will be using generators to vote today. My husband and I have 46 acres on the outskirts of Sylacauga. We are so blessed that our home was not damaged. We are estimating that we lost 25-30 trees on our property. Our area looks like a war zone. You talk about living in a “bowl “. I think that’s probably what saved you! Again, I’m so glad y’all are ok!
I'm so glad no permanent damage was done to you and your animal friends from the hurricane. You will have tons of firewood and more sunshine peeking thru the trees. Even trouble has its rewards, I guess. A little trouble allows us to better see our Blessings and be Thankful. Praise God!
He says ‘“ I just got home from work “ , he has work elsewhere His wife strikes me as very supportive, more than his cheer leader and a strong , decent , grateful for blessings type of woman . I’ve noticed she suggests courses of action that she kind of gives mutual credit for thinking up. Love them all , plus Moody & co , Peaches , Nugget and the other Cats , the doggies , and mustn’t forget their feathered friends.
** Side Note** Yes.. I DO realize this was like 4 mos ago... BUT.. I am a "newer" subscriber.. therefore, I am Binge Watching y'all's vlogs❣️❣️🥰🥰 I just ABSOLUTELY LOVE and ADORE your family!! Cannot wait to see y'all's new farm come along.. And what new animals you may be adding to the menagerie!! 😉😉
So glad every one and every critter came out of this storm untouched. The trees and debris is nothing compared to the injury or the loss of a breathing body.
Whew! Cat 1 mess! "I'll take that all day long! We got hit with Tropical Storm Zeta around 5 am. After a while ebbing and flowing ( I made coffee and went to bed) just in case of power outage which neighboring communities did lose. A nearby young guy died when huge tree landed on his trailer. Poor young guy! everyone should have a safe place!
IT was a tropical storm when it hit us in Georgia. The Weather Channel said Georgia's damage was far worse then any other state. We live in the mountains, not far from the North Carolina\Tenn. border. There are many, many homes with no power. Still trees and power lines down, impassible roads, and some flooding. When we go outside all we hear all the generators running. So glad you came through with not a lot of damage.
Praise God. He has spared y'all from heavy damage. Your house and animal shelters are safe n sound. Riding out many myself even Hugo. Yes it can be scary but that is when you have to have faith. I went without power for 16 days and was one of the lucky ones. 😁🙏
I lived in Northeast Arkansas most of my life and most Hurricanes lost most of their strength before they got to us But sometimes the remnant would spawn tornadoes and high straight line winds most times it was ice storms in the winter that usally got our power out and messed us up....
10-31-20,Jason, for a guy 👦 that has everything I'm surprised you don't have a generator to use when you're power goes out, com-on. Hi mrs.cog hill, and mary carl, and all the other animals ❤ I hope you are all doing well.
You two are such a beautiful team. Thank you for being such positive role models. Huntsville did not get hit that hard. Prayers to all two- legged, four-legged and feathered.
So glad you’re all ok and the animals too! Surprised that you left Peaches out to fend for herself. Could have put her in a barn. Thank God no tree fell on the house or animals! God is good!
I'm thankful that you are all ok. I couldn't believe that those trees didn't hit anything. God answers prayers and kept you and all the animals and the garden safe. You are continuing to be in my prayers.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Love you all. 💖 God bless you all.💖💖
Glad y'all faired well through the storm. Alittle cleanup and alittle peacefulness while you wait for the power to come back on. Thank the Lord for the generator. Glad to see peaches out helping with the cleanup. She is "some pig" 😁
Main thing is yall and the animals are all safe! So happy you don't have any structures damaged. Peaches is doing her part to clean up so yall gotta get busy.
I think the clearing and stuff you hand done has just shown it’s big pay off. Without having done it you may have had a lot of damage. So glad to hear you fared so well
Glad you had the forethought of being prepared eg generator (most essential), gas stove, French Press( #1 up there as essential for coffee!), marshmallows etc for s'mores. You guys rock!)
So relieved that you are all okay. Also glad there was no damage to your home and outbuildings. That must have been a scary thing to live through. Just curious, how are you dealing with the chicks that still need heat while your power is out?
So glad that you ,your family and farm animals are all ok. Things can be replaced but people cannot. GOD kept you all safe. You will be ok. It'll just be like camping sort of...except that you have the generator. GOD IS GREAT.
11-10-20,hey 👋 mrs.cog hill, the forest preserve here in Chicago had a John deer, 390 tractor 🚜 its not to big, or to small, why don't you check it out, I think it would be great 👍 for you, don't get me wrong I'm not trying to spend your money, but when I seen it I said that would be awesome for mrs.cog hill for the farm, hi everyone, hey Jason and Mary carl and all the animals, I've been praying for all of you ❤ so no more problems with the weather on your farm.
😲🥰😲🥰😲 Shooie!! Well.. while y'all DID have quite a few trees down and limbs... God MOST DEFINITELY had His hands on y'all's farm and yourselves❣️❣️ And for that.. I am SO grateful! Praying for you all ! thank goodness Zeta didn’t get skinny little Mrs. Coghill! You are getting so skinny girl a big wind would blow you away ! Good work!
PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED, I am so worried about ya'll , GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FARM !! Thank God the Green House is ok , I saw that Panel gone and thought, "Ow no, hope it isn't smashed somewhere" Big smile when ya found it !! NO WORRIES MY FRIEND , YOU GOTTA WAIT A WEEK FOR POWER? We will BE HERE WHEN YOU RETURN !!
Prayers were answered for you all. God bless ya'll. Most people don't recognize the silver linings after things happen, but there are always many if you look.
We were surprised by Hurricane Charley when it made a right turn earlier than projected.. the sounds are awful when you're stuck inside & unable to see what's happening.. then came the power outage. We were w/o power for 2.5 wks, in August in Florida.. ugh! My heart goes out to everyone impacted by all these hurricanes this year. I'm glad to hear everyone is safe. Love your family & your channel! God bless!
Thank y'all so much all the messages & for y'all checking in on us!!! We love you guys!!
We still do not have power, but we are all good!!!
Thank the Lord yu'all are OK.....An thinking about all the people in the path of that Storm.....Thanks
Glad you guys and the animals are safe; and no real big damage😊
Glad you all are okay. Thank goodness none of those trees landed on your home & the animals were okay. 💜
So happy to hear you had no major damages. So many do. There were no eggs in the incubator, no newborns needing care and your generator is working.
I swear I saw Zeta going for Alabama and I said to my friends: "I hope The Cog Hill's will be okay" And everyone looked at me funny. Then I realized they have no idea who I'm talking about.
