So.. you might actually wanna check out the translated light novel. They finished translating denyuuden already. If you wanna know what happened during 2nd season, you can read from dai densetsu no yuusha no densetsu.

I heard the author behind the light novels passed away years ago. So yeah there will never be a season 2 it's on indefinite hiatus. It's the same with High School of the Dead the creator Daisuke Sato passed away.

But why a another studio make a second season , i mean this anime was not bad its was cool , dark and core , ok the dude dies but nobody can by the licence to make season one . I mean a lot of trash animes runs over the japanse market and have only one season because they have bad story telling .
