(i have never heard these types before, i 'm maybe type 5 or 6, unfortunately. and an irrelevant fun fact i just learned: in my country, hungary, the most popular female baby name sincs 2010 is...Hannah (Hanna). every year, no change in the past 14 years! )

When I first encountered the Enneagram, I found it awesome how much more detailed and descriptive the personality types were when compared to the MBTI.

Learned something new today. Despite minoring in sociology and psychology, none of the courses I took ever mentioned the enneagram and it might be because it leans closer to the work of mystics. So your video is where I've first heard about it. On the surface there's nothing religious about personality types, but half an hour of research has shown me enneagram rules and their similarities to the zodiac. The caveat being: unlike the zodiac, the path isn't as steered by destiny and instead encourages self-improvement and transcendence ... like how your affirmations reinforce the thoughts and qualities to aspire to.

oh wow cool! i was a psych major :D and yep enneagram nor MBTI weren't talked about since there hasn't been much testing. Big 5 Personality traits is the most reliable and well known personality assessment. Still I love the theories (i think the zodiac stuff is a bit bs cause like you said it's based on kind of a destiny thing)
