De play offs-systeem zorgt ook voor ingewikkeldheid en oneerlijkheid zodat Club Brugge(die zelf tegen de play offs is) nog altijd kampioen kan spelen ondanks dat ze 19 punten achterstonden op Union. Kijk naar Standard in 2018 toen ze 23 punten achterstonden op hetzelfde Club Brugge, konden ze ook nog kampioen spelen. Als Club Brugge dit seizoen geen kampioen speelt, is het in mijn ogen niet in die ellendige play offs misgelopen, maar wel in de reguliere competitie toen ze beschamend veel punten verloren hadden.
