    Episode 9.
Our main characters are necessarily sidelined for almost the entire time, since, in fact, they would have had nothing to do since everything now depends on what is done on Earth, and then it must be said that they deserve a bit of rest (given that they are in a situation on the edge of survival) after everything they have done, even in romantic terms.
As mentioned, now it is Earth's turn and I must say that this episode creates a small masterpiece in staging a small dramatic action feature film that completely involves the viewer and lines up several heart-stopping sequences very well done in the staging and visual aspect (always within the limits of a South Korean serial production) which is commendable artistically and technically. The flavor, as already seen in other previous scenes, is that of films like The Moon by Kim Yong-hwa, not to directly mention a Hollywood cornerstone like Apollo 13 and it is a show to see, fully respecting the manual of good entertainment cinema. On the plausibility of the whole thing I leave it to those who have real expertise in the matter, if there is good if not, patience, I'm interested up to a certain point; the point for me is to see a group of people united to achieve a single goal, that is to save them and the rhythm of all this is beautiful to see. But beyond all this, although, it must be said that the episode, for obvious reasons also of plot, dedicates a lot to this aspect, the heart is as always in the characters and their interactions. Necessarily the scene here is focused on Dong-a, if only because he is the protagonist of the rescue mission of Eve and Ryong, so he has all eyes on him and consequently, Tae-hui is also dragged into it: in the previous episodes, Dong-a seems to have made his final decision, which he reiterates here, that is, that the love he feels for Eve comes before everything else and despite what we could kindly call a deviation represented by the flirtation he had with Tae-hui, now he seems more determined than ever, thanks to the deeply emotional situation he is subjected to and also, surely, a touch of jealousy he had in seeing Eve with Ryong on the monitors. As I wrote at the time, I think Dong-a is sentimentally very confused about what he really wants, I think his heart lies more with Tae-hui than with Eve and that, in fact, it is more a form of self-convincing that Eve is the person he loves the most. But it is quite certain that he will have to open his eyes very quickly because, unless there are sudden changes, I doubt that Eve will want to know about him on this front after hearing him cheat on her with Tae-hui and then opening up emotionally and beyond with Ryong. But, as always should be done in a relationship, communication is the most important thing, so the two will have to talk a lot about this. On the other hand, Tae-hui's feelings for Dong-a have been evident and transparent for some time, Dong-a just has to realize it, but we'll see if there is a glimmer of hope on this front. In any case, Dong-a's choice to risk everything to save Eve and Ryong is undoubtedly partly due to a sense of guilt towards him, but there is also a sense of responsibility and maybe even a pinch of recklessness, but that is welcome and it is commendable to see him do everything possible to save them. In all of this, speaking of people who have to come to terms with it, Go-eun is one of those people: as is known, despite the very questionable methods, Ryong was quite clear about his position with her during their last phone call after Go-eun publicly announced their marriage to the press, namely that it was not something he wanted to do, thus marking the end of their relationship, something that Go-eun herself had sadly understood. So, even in Go-eun's case, she is holding on to an illusion that this episode never happened and that Ryong can finally truly love her, something he has never shown to do, something we are also reminded of in a flashback at the beginning of the episode in which Ryong avoids answering the question about whether he was happy now that he was with Go-eun. Even in this case however, Ryong and Go-eun need to reiterate this thing. Given that Go-eun's interest in Ryong is a bubble in which she has put different feelings, including pissing off her father...
In all of this, in addition to Tae-hui's heartbreak, there is also Kang-su's when he hears Go-eun express her love for Ryong during the rescue mission. As always, I'm rooting for Kang-su on this, so I hope Go-eun can open her eyes and her heart.
I notice that some people tend to misunderstand the motivations behind the whole fertilized egg in space thing, since the focus is always on Choi Jae-ryong and his obsession with lineage, but that's not why Ryong went to all that trouble: he did it only for Na Min-jeong, his patient and her and her late husband's desire to have a child, so his will is, as always, towards the patient and the unborn child, as he always did, so "his mission" to safeguard life and bring it into the world. Certainly more noble than satisfying the vainglory of a chaebol.
Having said all that, the next episode promises to be turbulent in terms of romantic relationships and I honestly can't wait to see it tomorrow. To date, this is the drama that is giving me the most satisfaction and it will surely end up in my list of dramas that I will have appreciated the most for this 2025, obviously my opinion.

    Tenth episode.
We are back on Earth, together with our heroes and with them all the problems ready to await them and attack them properly, like a sort of ambush for which they are not adequately prepared. In the last episode I had hoped that Ryong and Eve would have had to discuss their situation properly with their respective partners and put a full stop, but as always, it is easier said than done, thanks to the aforementioned ambush that seems to put Ryong and Eve with their backs to the wall by, respectively, Go-eun and Dong-a, who I reiterate in front of the cameras, their respective relationships with the protagonists. In the previous episodes, I had wondered what was going on in Dong-a's head and heart and here I think his problem was revealed quite well, so to speak: the decision to sever all sentimental ties with Tae-hui in favor of the love he feels for Eve, forced him to take responsibility, confessing his weaknesses with Tae-hui and promising his fidelity this time, thus making amends and asking for Eve's absolution. We already knew that Eve knew about it, so obviously she's not surprised, but I wondered if Dong-a's words had reached her at that moment, but we can't know, since the deciding factor was Dong-a's unexpected "confession" video, which he unknowingly made while he was replacing the dummy in the ship he would later use to save Eve, in which he lets himself go in an outburst of love for Eve which, combined with the extraordinary mission of the previous episode, has undoubtedly made an impression on Eve, something Ryong immediately understood. This of course brings us to the final scene with Eve and Ryong, where she makes the decision that, given the way the episode is going, was to be expected, which is to pretend that everything that happened between her and Ryong never happened, that their feelings for each other were just a dream, a kind of drunkenness, but that now they both have to wake up, stressing that they have people who love them and who shouldn't make them suffer. There is one detail that struck me, let's say, which is Eve stressing that she has always been the responsible one, the one who follows the rules, but that she has found herself doing reckless "Ryong-esque" things that are not like her; I think Eve is trying to make her world work and that holding on to her responsible self is very reassuring, rather than jumping into the unknown with Ryong. This brings us to the choice of giving Dong-a another chance, strong in his repentance and heroic gesture, which I imagine will annoy more than a few people, but I find it very human and gives a bit more complex layers to the character and the situation, but above all, which I personally appreciate, it does not pose absolutisms in which it is outlined, with simplicity, who is good or bad, but only shades of debauchery that we all have. Of course, it remains to be seen whether Eve is not just deluding herself by clinging to a false sense of security. Obviously Ryong has a completely different opinion, in which, given that Go-eun does not seem to have correctly understood what they said to each other some time ago, he reiterates his position in wanting to break up with her, telling her that he has never been able to love her and that he was only using her to get revenge on her father (but it must be said that Go-eun herself did the same by using Ryong to piss off her father and Kang-su, which should be remembered); unfortunately Go-eun doesn't seem to want to give in, not believing Ryong's words, even though she has understood that there is a romantic feeling between him and Eve, which she would accept, but she doesn't accept that he has never been in love with her. If on the one hand I find Go-eun's determination almost admirable, on the other, as I wrote several times, she is only deluding herself by not accepting reality, but even more by remaining blind to Kang-su who is the only person who seems to understand her even without her opening her mouth and who loves her authentically (their scene on the roof with Go-eun while she reflects sadly and Kang-su stands next to her, I found it very intimate) so much so that he fights for her and gives a beating to Ryong who, despite all the attenuations mentioned above and in the past, somewhat deserves such treatment, as Eve rightly points out. It must be said, however, that while I appreciate Eve's "adult" approach to the matter, I can't help but love Ryong's "childish" approach, who only follows his feelings, his heart, well aware that it hurts more than someone like that. This seems to put an end to the whole story between Ryong and Eve, at least apparently, but I think this stop is something that is right to do so that both of them understand if their feelings for each other are true and not a dream, but even more so if Eve will be able to convince with the choice of responsibility that she has made.
In all of this, we are given a little treat, so to speak, in which we see a delightful "dating era" montage between Ryong and Eve, imagining what the two of them would do together once they return to Earth, in a home video style peppered with various animations, very adorable, but it remains only a dream since it seems like it will never happen. Also, throughout all of this, I could not help but think about how beautiful Kong Hyo-jin was...
I suspected that Kang-su's winning lottery ticket would reappear and it did, almost giving Mina Lee a heart attack when she finds out that Ryong smuggled it to her. This ticket is having an odyssey all its own and I wonder if it will ever be cashed in, but I think it will, once again, play a role. By the way, I had forgotten that in the meantime a small and unexpected love story between Mina and Seung-jun is timidly advancing, which I have nothing against, she always makes me die of laughter, so whatever brings her to the screen is fine with me.
In all of this, the threat looms that soon everything that happened in the space season will soon be revealed, putting everyone in trouble.
There were no bombastic and adrenaline-filled space things, but there was no lack of relational sparks between the characters, as we approach the final act of this atypical drama that I am appreciating a lot.

In fictional story we can understand it can't be real... But here this drama is so unrealistic
