Very thoughtful design and execution. These are awesome table! I really appreciate the EXTRA details that make them unique and delightful for those who take the time to see them. Great work. I appreciate more talking and 'splainin' and less watching wood go through machines. Great video work as well.
When I saw you cutting in the dovetails on those curved halves, I was like "now why did he do that, why not use a lap joint? is it because those are slats glued together?" Then I saw you cut the dovetails in the legs and piece them together and I was like "Ahh! THAT"S FREAKING AWESOME!"
Just beautiful... Superb craftsmanship and attention to detail. Such talent and skill to be able to have these ideas and to carry them out. Robert is so lucky to be learning from you and I'm so pleased for you that you found someone who you can show and then is confident enough be able to work alone. It's so great to see you have someone there to help carry the load of some of those big pieces too. I enjoyed seeing Robert's input when you were doubtful about a task. Just having that extra opinion on if you were about to make a mistake when you over-think something must be useful. As ever I've run out of superlatives! 👏
I don't feel like you need me to tell you this, but these tables are something you should be proud of. By and large, you blew my expectations out of the water with this one.
I love the frame and all the intricate work going into the details resulting in a beautiful seamless elegance. The top is not really what I would personally have chosen but I get the idea behind it and as long as the customer is happy then who could ask for more.
I love everything about this project. I Like how you left the dovetail exposed and the use of the dovetails to join the halves at the leg. In your videos you really capture the essence of what makes handcrafted furniture unique and meaningful. All the extra little details that most people wouldn't notice but makes it better as a whole. I'm also really enjoying the dynamic of seeing you teach Robert. Plus you not only teach but look for a dialog opening up to his opinions. Well done.
I think they look great, Andy. Really complicated and time intensive but well worth it. As an experienced hobby woodworker, I appreciate all you do. Bill
A very cool design, and a flawless execution. Very clever use of the jigs to do the dovetails. When I saw the thumbnail my first thought was "how is he going to connect the two halves" Well done Andy! Looking forward to the coming builds!!
Those tables are freaking amazing. I want to build a table similar to that with curved back chairs that nestle into the curve of the table. I don't have anywhere near the the incredible tool collection that you have available.
34:00 This is unreal! I mean the dovetail being exposed in the crack, the grain matching, the grain color, just such an amazing job man! Love the finish on it as well.
The attention to detail at the very end is really excellent! So many pieces of production furniture have little to no attention to grain and reveals and they look haphazard and just plain wrong. Yours are another class entirely. Customers should thank their stars that they have craftspeople like you to elevate their furniture pieces to new heights.
Looks amazing. The details on the legs and dovetails to hold the apron together is a great idea. Perfectly executed. A big help having another set of hands there too.
The result is just pure art! Worth each hour of work you guys have spent on those. It seems you've (almost?) used all machines in the shop for this project... Love the videos and the results even more so! 🙏🏻
Andy I really love your design of your round end grain cookie slabs and the joinery what as gone into them as well amazing furniture piece lovely timber as well very bespoke furniture. Well done keep up your hard work 👏 💪 👍 👌
Amazing tables especially the grain matching and exposed dovetails. What was the thought process for deciding which voids to fill and which to leave open?
Andy, serieus question. Whilst tappering those leggs. Why do you prefer the bandsaw over a taperingjig. Are there any examples of things that happend? Thank you in advance!
Love this build man! As a furniture maker I can really appreciate all those little details you put into that. I never would have thought of putting the radius detail on the outside of the tapered leg but it looks on point. That is very mature design detail that takes the pieces to another level. What mask are you using? I hate my 3M respirator.
Why didn't you use a jig to cut the tapers on the legs? It is so much safer, especially since you have had so much initial work done on the legs. Tables are great!
Andy. Love the Tables. BUT, are you not concerned that the crosscut circle is going to shrink and crack across the grain, ending up with a potentially catastrophic separation of the circular top? What am I missing?
The patience and imagination are inspiring. beautiful work.
The tables look awesome...You can see the hours of sweat and tears....and as always the fine craftsmanship.

Best slab pieces I've seen to date. And we all know how many slabs we've been seeing lately!
These new videos are great, I really like the longer format and the teaching with your apprentice. Thanks.
As a hobbyists aspiring furniture maker your work is such an inspiration i learn so much from your videos

Brilliant job Andy, well thought out, and I think you have picked up a great guy as an apprentice, although I think he is well experienced.

Lovely design and superb execution, Andy! Nice to see how your spray finishing is working out for you. Great job all around.
that's not furniture, thats wood art! Awesome pieces :)
Beautiful table Andy, I prefer the longer vids showing a lot of details of the process.
I don't feel like you need me to tell you this, but these tables are something you should be proud of. By and large, you blew my expectations out of the water with this one.
Great work Andy. So simple yet so complex. You nailed the design.
Incredible craftsmanship, Andy. Your attention to detail and eye for perfection truly is second to none. Love these videos and I love your work.
Absolutely beautiful work. I love these tables. If the clint changes his mind let me know.

Absolutely gorgeous! I love how you use the big tools when you need them but your passion for hand tools shows through

Andy, Amazing🙏🙏🙏🙏 As a furniture maker for almost 40yrs now I truly appreciate your craftsmanship. God Bless🙏🪚🪑🪟📐🔨🚪🪟🇺🇸🇺🇸👨🏻🦯👨🏻🦯
I love hearing the discussions between the two of you, it's just like your teaching us all, more of that please.

Looking good! Can't wait to see the finished tables!!
This build is awesome. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more. I can easily watch these lengths videos when there is this much going on.
For me, the dovetail jigging made this build. Thanks for sharing.
Love the way this blend hand tools and power tools

Whew!!! You were giving me heart palpations watching your finger slip below the guard on the jointer in the opening shots.
Beautiful work, you're a true artist. Really enjoy your content. Thanks.

Interesting design, workmanship is outstanding. Would expect nothing less from Andy
Love your work brother. Keep up the incredible work.
beautiful as always Andy
Absolutely love it. I couldn’t achieve that level of craftsmanship with the help of aliens.
These are some great and unique looking tables Andy. Your videos show how much work goes into making these.
Keep it up Andy! Incredible job!
The result is just pure art! Worth each hour of work you guys have spent on those. It seems you've (almost?) used all machines in the shop for this project... Love the videos and the results even more so! 🙏🏻
I became an electrician because it was so difficult to find a woodworking shop who would want someone with almost no experience. Still is my dream job
Such a stunning finial piece. Well done Sir
Beautiful, Andy! Really amazing work! 😃
Fantastic looking table!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Loved the Ash. Beautiful wood.

Andy I really love your design of your round end grain cookie slabs and the joinery what as gone into them as well amazing furniture piece lovely timber as well very bespoke furniture. Well done keep up your hard work 👏 💪 👍 👌

Good video
Sweet work.
Amazing tables especially the grain matching and exposed dovetails. What was the thought process for deciding which voids to fill and which to leave open?
Good Job bro
Love your channel Andy!!
Wow. That looks gorgeous, makes me want to play with some cherry rounds I have at home.
good stuff
That's awesome. wouldn't the table top eventually crack and warp more as it continues to dry?
Andy, serieus question. Whilst tappering those leggs. Why do you prefer the bandsaw over a taperingjig. Are there any examples of things that happend? Thank you in advance!
Great video, you need to pick up a pair of steel toe cap boots and socks for your apprentice....
Love this build man! As a furniture maker I can really appreciate all those little details you put into that. Thanks! I forget the name of it but you can find it on Amazon.
I am curious why you run the taper through the bandsaw verses using a tapering jig on you table saw? Beautiful pieces.
Simply stunning. What finish did you use, Andy?
I assume that the client wants tables with holes on the top. I would prefer filled with epoxy, so things would not fall thru.
Looks like such a challenging but fun project. How were the bridal joints cut though?
Wicked cool. 🇨🇦
Love it great work.
Why didn't you use a jig to cut the tapers on the legs? It is so much safer, especially since you have had so much initial work done on the legs.
Tables are great!
In retrospect I should have. The results would have been better.
People that complain about the high cost of good furniture............. WATCH this series.
Dream team collaboration. Matthias Wandel. Samurai Carpenter. ARawls
nice, very nice
As the saying goes, “just because I make it look easy it doesn’t mean it is”. Years of experience (you, not me!)
Appreciate the videos. Wondering what you use to convert your single phase power to 3phase at your tools.
great work. one question, are they going to put a glass top on them or just keep the holes in the table tops?
Nice
Andy. Love the Tables. BUT, are you not concerned that the crosscut circle is going to shrink and crack across the grain, ending up with a potentially catastrophic separation of the circular top? What am I missing?
Beautiful build
Knee pads-you will never regret it
Regards from Aus
🤓👍
Dude, you’re making me scared for 40. Good thing is strength runs in my family
Will the tables have glass on top when they are in use?
Is the invasive Emerald Ash Borer a problem in Texas?
Beautiful tables and the detail you just don't find.
I thought my Grizzly 17" bandsaw was big...
Always push router in the opposite way it spins, so it doesn’t spin off real fast and slash you up like a Puerto Rican chick 😂😂
