What I'd like to know is if the user clicks on a gallery item, can it open (via lightbox) with the description there... and not in the gallery group?
Nope static images that don't open in a lightbox - makes the whole gallery pretty useless - 10web gallery is pretty good
I'm missing true custom post type / ACF integration. Without the use of dynamic data (ACF repeater field, ACF gallery etc.) it's useless for me. All the elementor slider and carousel widgets need that as well urgently ;)

The 'Order By - RANDOM' sort choice each time page loads - found in Basic Gallery Widget
The 'Lightbox Scroll-Through' Navigation with forward and back ARROWS - also found in Basic Gallery Widget +/or better yet
The Many Options for Navigation + Lightbox + Overlay with Captions - available in the Media Carousel
All combined with the Pro Gallery Options already present.

Looks great, but useless for me untill it works with dynamic content. I hoped this functionality would be included in the pro version. But instead the new gallerywidget is only available on the pro version.

Have you seen Crocoblock? They have a bunch of WooCommerce for Elementor type of stuff.

didnt show what happens when you click on a photo. Does it get large? open up in lightbox? Can you use arrow keys to slide through them once open?
@BuddyQuaid, the default setting is to open in a lightbox, which you can then scroll through with the arrow keys. You can also control the lightbox settings and styling from Site Settings.
Great, but It would be very complete if you added to the gallery the possibility of being able to comment on the photos, something like Photo Contest. The opportunity to give the user which of the photos in a gallery he likes or who thinks about it and share it on social networks. :)

Elementor, please work towards more integration with custom fields and custom post types in the different widgets where it makes sense - especially the portfolio/gallery widgets.. It is one of the features many users are looking for and this will shut down the need for several external plugins and keep it all within Elementor, which again would be a big improvement for many. Many websites today rely on dynamic content and Elementor (kind of) integrates with ACF and alike but not in a way where it actually removes the need to use them. Certain Elementor widgets are also not able to pull in dynamic content and display them properly, so i think this is an area where you guys should be working on, big time.. That is where Elementor falls short because it handles static content extremely well - no doubt there, but the dynamic content integration needs to be way stronger in my opinion. Good to see this feature though but this video didn´t show much and it doesnt look like it can handle dynamic content.

I love the fact I will not have to use another plugin for better functioning galleries that are already native and integrated, but please give us more options than the standard three? How about diamond, Hexagon or beehive, circles, blobs, thumbnail, Instagram or pinterest, etc etc, something different, I sometimes wish we could get outside the box sometimes. There is only one plugin for wordpress that even offers a beehive or hexagon gallery and it's native in something as simple as Wix. If they can do it why can't we? :)

Hi Is one able to make an "L" shaped gallery? the "L" consists of the thumbnail pictures and inside the corner/frame of the "L" is nestled a large image that is derived from the thumbnails and keeps changing as in the carousel type setup? Great Video by the way!

All I care about is if it will let me add a Custom URL link for each image in the gallery. I need a gallery that the viewer can click to go to a related page, not just a link that shows them a bigger version of the same image. Anyone on here know for absolute certain if that is included? It isn't covered in this short video, and I didn't see that clarified in the features list.

@@fullboaroutdoors6651 Searching I realized that 2018 it was possible with the free version of elementor to do this, now you should go to the pro version, I suppose that in this way you can make the links in the galley without problem.
