Now imagine the millions of small battles through-out history where someone was ganged up and slaughtered but now and then there was a heroic effort like this in real life.

It definitely was impressive! Though, the game does not favour towards magic nor bows. There's so makes those two disciplines useless and the game encourages footies. If you're moderate at the game as a mage/archer, you're very sure to lose against any footie who's decent.
@@Arddy Idk if you still play but the game is very magic meta right now. This was well over a year ago and meta has shifted heavily to mage/paladin. Endgame fights are still pretty magic based or have some sort of magic like Akh Bond on their foot fighters. I'm a dex mage that can solo pretty much any Footie in a 1v1.
@@NottJacob Mordhau takes 3 hits max to kill someone, but the combat in Mordhau is so much better than this game lol. I understand that it's more of a survival game so it makes sense to have much more health and stamina than Mordhau. But Mordhau is dead for a reason

Hopefully, I stick with it and can get decent, since I'm mainly used to PvE MMOs, but either way I'm more than happy to have given them a sale. There's just not a single other MMO like this. Honestly, it feels weird to even play one that can get your heart racing like this where so much is on the line. I enjoy your modern day MMOs, but honestly it feels more like just going through the motions where I don't even care if I die in them or feel invested in the actual gameplay, because it really doesn't matter that much.

Really the only thing bad right now is the dsync in the game which is going to be fixed once they upgrade it to Ue5. Kids these days are are very picky and they dont give games a chance at all

Even if they get fixed it seems like things are screwed once the narrative is already out and all people see is old "Worst MMO Ever?!"-type videos and no real new coverage..
@@Bollibompa Mordhau and chiv both don't have auto aim or steer jump, comboing is quite an essential mechanic is combat games though. This game looks hella clunky compared to other sword combat games and the animations look horrible lol

No combos, current graphics, movements and animations - all this is at the level of Morrowind with mods. The project itself is interesting and hardcore - but I definitely won't play it yet - maybe in a year or two.
