Calasparra es un municipio español de la Región de Murcia, que cuenta con aproximadamente diez mil habitantes. El Santuario se encuentra en un paraje a 6 km por carretera de la villa. Por su aspecto tiene el mote de La Petra murciana.

Calasparra is a Spanish municipality in the Region of Murcia, it has approx. ten thousand inhabitants. The Sanctuary is located 6 km by road from the town. Due to its appearance, it has the nickname of Petra from Murcia.
