Heechul is the most underrated musician. Not only is he a very good singer but he also writes songs and is really good at the drums
His voice is so versatile, he has a ballad voice, a husky one and a rock one. He also has a healthy vibrato, and that supported note at 2:03 with splendid resonance 😍 Maybe the reason why he doesn't get the lead or main vocal position is he's struggling to pull off a mixed voice. His voice suits those positions tho, what a waste SM ugh

It's ridiculous how one major voice crack incident (which happens to even the best singers) was enough to make lots of people decide that he's not a good singer. Everyone has bad days.
I can't understand how people ignore how good he sounds usually when singing. I think Heechul is one of the better kpop singers, definetly above average. And most importantly, his *tone*. Heenim's tone is one of the most memorable and unique I know in the industry. I honestly think a memorable tone is even more important, than being a singer with superb technique and range. Singing tone is the thing people remember and become attracted to in a world where there are thousand of good singers.
Thankfully lot's of people have begun to acknowledge his vocals in the resent years.

He is such a great singer. His voice is much lower but he sings amazing. I get that they had a main vocal line in Super Junior but honestly SM wasted what they could have done with him.
