‘Mental health’ and ‘mental illness’ are often used interchangeably as if they were one in the same condition. They're definitely not. You can battle with a mental illness but still have good mental health, in the same way that you can struggle with poor mental health in the absence of any mental illness. Like our physical health we can and should look after our mental health - cause there's no health without mental health.
