I have the most nostalgic effections for tales From Earthsea sense it's the first one I saw it frightened me when I was younger.. a lot of people hate the film but it honestly isnt that bad..
I've only watched three of Studio Ghibli's films, two if you don't count nausicaa. I've started trying to watchone Ghibli film a day, which is going well so far. It seems these blue-rays are actually still affordable, unlike Evangelion. I can't wait to buy some of these discs for my self! Great video by the way.
On Blu-Ray are a few special features like more Dubs or Subtitles, or creditless intro/ending, a special or more sequences but I have not seen one until now on Ghibli movies. A few trailers maybe and that it. The Blu-Ray has in general the utmost quality in animation details and is the most popular too though you need a Blu-Ray Player with the right region a HDMI cable and a FullHD 1080P TV/Monitor =))))) Recently were released 4K UltraHD Blu-Ray anime movies. So you better prepare from now for those because there will be an explosion with those very soon and the prices will go up.
I have three Miyazaki movies left to watch (Howl's Moving Castle (which I wanna see the most), Ponyo and The Wind Rises), then I'll move on to the other ones
Just Wonderful, Thanks for sharing.
2020 and i believe you have completed all of them.. really envy your collection.

Do the blu-rays have special features that aren't available on the DVD and is there a significant picture and sound quality upgrade on the blu-ray?

You could also get a portable blu-ray player for a decent price.
I love Ghibli movies as well!
Are the numbers not the order in which they were released? Nausicaa has number 1 and Laputa has number 2 for instance?
How many Studio Ghibli films are there?
I Love the Studio Ghibli Films! I haven't seen all of them but just the ones that came from Miyazaki!

I agree with you all the way from start to finish!
