I’m glad they kept it real about the meet & greets. I’ve always felt like that has to be so weird for anyone- hugging all day and watching strangers cry & proclaim their love for you. Heartwarming for the fan, but really weird for the other person experiencing it.

The problem is that in Latin America the culture is “warmer” and everyone assumes that people from other countries will be comfortable hugging you too. This is shocking for me because I didn’t even get the idea until today that it was so uncomfortable for them. Sorry 😐
On the other hand, cold people who don't hug much might quite like hugging but never get the chance to do it. And exceptions get made all the time. My accomodation for them would be to bellow "THIS IS HOW WE DO IT BACK HOME" while launching into the hug, or if it's like a bank manager, just warmly ask if they mind hugging while initiating a less expansive hug

2:00 I saw a tornado at holiday world in Santa clause Indiana when I was a young child. It was right outside the park so close I could have ran to it from the women’s restroom, where me and grandmother and others took shelter. in brazil we really do have a whole different concept of personal space than the rest of the world, which is usually fine between ourselves but i think people should be mindful of that when interacting with foreigners
