Hey everyone, Shoshana loved season one of the "The Boys" and we are both excited to watch season two together for the very first time. For those interested we are currently on season 3 episode 4 of *THE BOYS* over on our Patreon: www.patreon.com/ThePerfectMix
@@toshibiswas3115Neuman, Homelander, Butcher, to name a few 😁 Just kidding. No Gen V only characters have appeared yet on season 4. However, there was a Gen V plot point and a character mentioned.
35:27 whats crazy is that in the comics that is actually what happens to Becca and the baby, so as a reader of the comic book the final scene was way more surprising
One thing that none of the reactors ever mention (not sure if they realized or not) but when Homelander tells Stillwell that he had A-Train run Compound V all over the globe while delivering it to the Terrorist, well that is why A-Train said "Can't stop" to Hughie after running through Robin in the 1st episode.
Becca worked for Vought, so she probably heard a lot of crazy stories about Homelander. She might have thought she couldn't say "No" to him, not without her and Butcher dying. (Or just Butcher).
Didn’t she work on how he’s portrayed to the public with his social media accounts? That could imply she possibly believed he was genuinely a good person, which only makes the shock and horror of when she realizes what he’s going to do to her that much worse.
I'll never undertsand how anyone can watch that scene of Becca leaving Homelander's, clearly traumatized, and think, "Oh yeah that was consensual." Also rape isn't about wanting people, it's about power.
true but there's any number of reasons someone could do something and then stand outside afterwards and regret it. I think it might've happened but at the same time it's never confirmed or not. Becca never explicitly says that's what happened. It's just what Butcher believes because Butcher hates Homelander and Butcher want's any reason to hold onto his rage against supes.
@@mkazaa she actually said she was r*ped. season 2 episode 4 she says _”homelander r*ped me. and when i found out that i was pregnant i went to vought, not to you bc i was scared”_ it was NOT consensual.
That crazy story about how the baby killed Rebecka is actually what happened in the comic. Butcher killed it with a lampstand. Yes, the comic was crazy, and not always in a good way...
Yeah the comic went crazy. That hangar completely covered in blood and gore, that picture of Homelander( Black Noir ) literally eating a baby, and even the way Butcher took out the other Boys at the end are just a few examples of how outrageous the comic was😂
In the comics, Butcher's wife died from the baby eye-beaming through her and Butcher was there to kill the baby before it killed him. The comics is pretty different. Mother's Milk actually got nurtered from his mom, a supe, who has "super breast milk" or something. Huey's dad is played by Simon Pegg, who was the inspiration of the design of Huey in the comics. Butcher's dog was with Butcher the whole time. They race swapped A-Train and Deep, though Deep did very little in the comics. Also, Annie's "initiation into the Seven" involved all the guys, not just The Deep.
A-Train brought himself down to a new level of low. He was trying to make himself feel better about Popclaw by blaming Hughie. He also tried to justify that Robin’s death was an accident, but if that were true he wouldn’t have been laughing about it at the club. Then in the season finale, he tells both Hughie and Starlight that he killed her. His inner guilt overwhelmed him. I enjoyed Vince making those faces when he knew something in particular was about to happen. I’m gonna miss watching him do that, but it’s also fun to watch him and Shoshana react to the rest of the show together.
If the baby got blown up you need to blame Butcher. He hit the button that exploded the house. Homelander wasn’t giving V to babies, he was injecting terrorist with it. So they have bad guys to fight.

You’re correct that the government could force Vought to produce V for them. They would have to pay for it, but technically for critical cases like this they only have to pay them “fair market value”, or possibly even just pay their expenses basically. They wouldn’t be subject to any story of extortion by Vought. But it makes for a good story to pretend they would, so they just ignored the fact that the government has the power to compel production, or to confiscate the formula (as long as they compensate them for that… it’s a type of eminent domain sort of thing) and produce it themselves. So… just pretend the government had no such power.
In this instance the government has no such power. The second the government tries that senator so and so in charge of that committee is having an accident.
@@peacocca190 This type of legal action does not require an act of Congress. It can be done by executive order. While they could certainly kill the President, actually doing so wouldn’t help with a threat to the new President to rescind the order. So they’d have to more or less explicitly threaten the president BEFORE he even takes such an action. They’d have to be willing to face some pretty bad potential repercussions of the threat even presuming they get what they want, since at this point they are still trying to preserve their public image, and it’s likely even the President doesn’t realize the depth of what they are responsible for. But they showed no such threat nor even hinted at it. Again, the show ignores the issue to keep a good story, which is fine here.
The way butchers wife leaves that room we think it was a consentual encounter? Sorry, youtube deleted my comment, I think. It was definitely not consensual, I mean: S2E3 B: you don't get to tell me how to raise my son. H: I am his father. B: you don't get to say that after what you did. H: what I did to you was give you a son that you are raising like a little girl. S2E4 B: Billy. He r**** me, and when I found out I was pregnant, I went to Vought. I didn't come to you. I didn't come to you because I was scared, cause I knew that you'd chase after him and you would seek revenge and it wouldn't be good for anybody.
The boys is the one show where I’m very interested I watching RUclips reactions, I’ve watched so many different channels reactions and something I’ve noticed is the diffence in the female and male reactors... women reactors overwhelmingly show far less sympathy, far more disgust and hatred at homelander than the male viewers. Obviously almost every reactor is going to think homelander is a terrible person, you love the character because he’s a great entertaining villain but hate the person that character is but women reactors definitely are far more visibly repulsed and make far more disparaging remarks towards homelander in their reactions than the male reactors do. It’s something I’ve definitely taken note of.
I don't think it was consensual but when I first watched I did have the thought that maybe that was her walking out shamefully for cheating on her husband. Like regretting what she had just done and getting out as quickly as possible and running away from it.
Can't believe you didn't see that ending coming. As soon as the doctor said that thing about needing to be raised in a family environment, it was pretty obvious. Cracking reactions as usual, though.
45:30 interesting idea. But I think the problem is, to work reliably, the Compound V has to be given to infants. So if the government would use it, they would need to prepare that process for decades. Since action is needed immideatly, Vought would be their only chance
11:32 I actually never heard an Asian person say Oriental was offensive. The only reason it would be, based on what I read, is that the word "oreint" refer to a placement to something else, implying that Europe is the main focus and that Asia "Oriented to the side of Europe," saying it's "secondary." "Mongoloid" would also make sense, but "Mongol" can refer to somebody with down syndrome, even if Mongolia is home to one of history's greatest conquerors of all time, Genghis Khan. Imma make something up and hope it makes sense: East Asian = Easian (EE-zhun); South Asian (Indian et al) = Sasian (SAY-zhun)
Homelander defentily raped Becca ,a lot of people think it was maybe Consensual (and I don't blame them I can see why it was confusing) because of what Homelander said and because there was the scene were she enters an office with Homelander which also confused people BUT I will remind you that he is a giant lier and he tried to make butcher angry and in the scene with the office Becca thought that the meeting was about social media because she basically had a similar job to ashley and she didin't know how evil Homelander is so she agreed to meet in private (it might be a SPOILER but in s2 said a line to homelander which confirms it was rape , Homelander says " I am his father." and Becca says " you don't get to say that after what you did." and she wouldn't say a line like that if it was Consensual )
I mean it pretty much comes down to who you believe Becca or homelander. I definitely believe her over him even though he had less to lose by lying. Just overall character
[Not a spoiler because they are way different from the source] In the comics baby kills Becca after "Homelander" (his clone, Black Noire) forcefully impregnates her and Butcher kills the baby right then and there, since he's also a Supe from the beginning. That's probably why they wrote the Doctor to tell that story.
I had the same thought, HLer is a deviant but the fact she let her husband and entire family suffer with not knowing threw me off. So i thought the plot line might be that way too
The story Vogelbaum told wasn't really made up. It was how Homelander was "born". His powers activated in the womb and he killed his mother and every Doctor in the room ...
Idk if you’re into animated stuff but if you like this then you might be interested in watching Invincible which is also on Prime. If you do check it out I’d recommend going into it as blind as possible.

Farrah, I’m a RUclips mod for The Perfect Mix. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this comment. So I’m only gonna say this once. They are NOT doing another show besides Breaking Bad and The Boys for the moment. The only way you can get them to watch a show you want is to submit your idea in a series suggestion post over on their Patreon and hope it gets into a poll. They won’t be doing another suggestion post until they complete one of the shows, and unfortunately requesting a show here won’t help. Several people on Patreon want Outer Banks, and with any luck it might win the next poll. So I apologize for the inconvenience, but please refrain from commenting this again. I’m only letting this one stay so you can receive this message.
All in good time. They have a schedule for Patreon, it takes a lot of work to edit for RUclips, and Sony might get on their case if they go beyond the allowed criteria. I’m a mod for The Perfect Mix, and I had to delete some comments that were delivered very rudely. I’m leaving this one so you and everyone else wanting Breaking Bad receive the message. If it’s any comfort, they’re wrapping up season four this weekend over on their Patreon.
12:03 What's wrong with "John"? 🙂John McClane, John Wick, John Watson, John Smith, John Anderton, John Holliday, John Dunbar, John Bender, John Connor, John Rambo, John Shaft...
A: Homelander was awesome (our Heath Ledger Joker) B: Stillwell wasn’t turned on by terrorist story but she’s terrified by Homelander so she used what she could to control the situation. C: You guys had a problem with her getting her head hollowed by laser? Would you have rather he crushed her with his bare hands or something? 😂 D: I don’t get why people are so hateful towards Annie’s mom. If you were promised that your child would be better than a celebrity and taken care of for life any parent would take that.
It's not about the opportunity, it's about FORCING those biblical camps and pageant shows on her and saying it's "our dream" fully living vi-curiously through her daughter have you not seen the insane moms that force their kids to do pageant shows? look it up they're insane and abusive as hell
D - so there’s this thing called ‘consent’ and ‘body autonomy’ and generally speaking giving your baby enhancement drugs through shady illegal human trials is something that I would hope most parents would be against. If your kid grows up and wants to be superhero? Sure. Forcing them to be one as a baby, ensuring that they will never have a normal life? Absolutely unhinged and selfish, particularly because it’s a crapshoot what kind of powers the baby would come out with. And with Annie’s mom particularly, there’s extra reasons to hate her and assume she did it for selfish reasons. All season long she was pushing Annie to do things she didn’t want, because her mom wanted her to. Even when Annie was pleading with her to not do the show, what was Annie’s mom’s response? “All my friends are watching.” She may not be as evil as a lot of characters on the show, but she’s a selfish and terrible mother. And actually, I DON’T think “any parent” would take the promise of their child being better than a celebrity and taken care of for life, even without the drug aspect. An intelligent and loving parent would recognize that fame (even regular, non superhero fame) is a huge responsibility that they cannot force on their child, especially when they’re too young to comprehend it.
Firstly, rape isn't usually about sex, it's about power &/or sadism. Secondly, I do think it was probably consentual, mostly because I feel like Homelander had no reason to lie... he had all the power in the situation, I cant imagine he'd have a problem with twlling Butcher if hed raped his wife.
Idk about the second part, it could go either way. I think him telling butcher it was consensual could either be the truth or just a way to psychologically torture him into thinking becca cheated on him and ran away.
First of all deep just gave starlight a choice he did not forced her it's like a casting couch.... Soo to starlight her place in the Seven meant more than her own selfish respect and suddenly she played a women card!!! In deep's situation this episode was a total rape but who sympathises with men right!!! People need to understand that there is a difference between a rape and a casting couch!!😏
Just because he didn't physically grab her and force her that way doesn't make it not rape. He threatened her and took advantage of his position of power to make her do something she didn't want to, it doesn't get much more rape than that.
What a weirdo comment dude, both were rape. Only difference is The Deep has pushed himself onto other women before, so not everyone is going to welcome him into their arms of sympathy. He's a bad dude who is being shown how it feels to be on the other end. With your logic, The Deep had a choice too, he could've pushed her off of him and told her no, but he valued his reputation not getting worse by being accused of raping another woman. Your logic is flawed and if you genuinely think a higher up threatening someone's dream job unless they are given sexual favors isn't rape, you need to step away from the internet and use some critical thinking skills. Basically every company ever has a rule against a higher up having relations with lower employees because of the possibility of it being like what the Deep did to Starlight.

B: Billy.
Enjoy S2-S4 along with Gen V. Only gets better and more wild from here!
Well I hope it don’t get more wild than S4 😂😂😂
Outstanding cliffhanger
Can't believe you didn't see that ending coming. As soon as the doctor said that thing about needing to be raised in a family environment, it was pretty obvious. Cracking reactions as usual, though.
In the comics Becca and the baby both die during labor as the baby lasered itself out of Becca’s body… so not too outlandish of a lie 😂
45:30 interesting idea. But I think the problem is, to work reliably, the Compound V has to be given to infants. So if the government would use it, they would need to prepare that process for decades. Since action is needed immideatly, Vought would be their only chance
The gills are so FUCKED LMAOO😭
I wish that you'll always be together and keep bringing reactions for us ❤❤❤❤❤
It looked like she just got introduced to the concept of lying.....
10:03 Shoshana's face. My stomach hurt 🤣😭
I had my phone full volume with my parents at 1:20
Advocating for SA is wild
35:42 it was in the comic bucher wife's death has happened like how the doctor described
It’s technically not spoilers because it’s all mentioned in season 1 minus a concrete proof of the r*pe but in season two they show a scene proving it
Can someone let me know if they show the screen of what they’re watching on Patreon ? If they don’t, I’ll just stick to watching them on here
They do show the whole movie or show on their Patreon
And they’re already halfway through season 3.
You guys should react to smallville and supernatural seasons they are amazing
You guys should watch snowfall great series
long live to Queen Maeve 👑
[Not a spoiler because they are way different from the source]
In the comics baby kills Becca after "Homelander" (his clone, Black Noire) forcefully impregnates her and Butcher kills the baby right then and there, since he's also a Supe from the beginning. That's probably why they wrote the Doctor to tell that story.
Before you guys watch s4 ep5 I'd recommend watching gen V, it helps tie things together better
Nice reaction!, Will you react to The Meg?
Will y'all also watch the spinoff show of this called "Gen V" after watching season 3?😅
Hopefully they will. I already notified them before, but I’ll remind them again next week when they upload more of season 3 so they have time to plan.
The photos where 4k because he said they where made by his doorbell
Where are other seasons guys
I had the same thought, HLer is a deviant but the fact she let her husband and entire family suffer with not knowing threw me off. So i thought the plot line might be that way too
I still wonder how kimiko got into the attic without A -train being able to see her 🤔
IIRC she hid in a vent or sth. and you could see her coming out in the background while A-Ttrain is talking.
@@bonjy3701 right, but how did she get there without him seeing her first ? Given his speed.
What’s the movie behind y’all?
I hope you have a amazing day ❤😊
Now, Season 2.
Wait til the watch herogasm 💀
Have you guys ever reacted to Rampage (2018).
The story Vogelbaum told wasn't really made up. It was how Homelander was "born". His powers activated in the womb and he killed his mother and every Doctor in the room ...
Girlfriend!? I thought you guys were married
Idk if you’re into animated stuff but if you like this then you might be interested in watching Invincible which is also on Prime. If you do check it out I’d recommend going into it as blind as possible.
Робокоп 2 1990 года посмотрите.
How old are the supes? Hughie was their fans since childhood soo???
Please React To Breakdown - 1997.
10:04 am I wrong for likeing it well eating
It was the climax scenes that made Homelander my favourite character🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Writing was so good s1. Wtf happened 😢😢😢
writing is still fantastic you're bugging
Writing is so good*
It still is good. Only now, you’re realizing they’ve been making fun of you entire time and you aren’t having fun anymore
Seasons 1 & 2 were 5*, season 3 3*’s, it’s too early to say with season 4 so far.
Day 6 of asking for you guys to watch OUTER BANKS please it’s my fav show and I think you guys will love it! I can’t have patreon so I don’t know if you will say yes x
Watch hereditary
36:34 u gotta let your emotions go for certain characters or youll misinterpret actions or the actual plot 😂.
🎉
Bro whats going on with Breaking Bad?
All in good time. They have a schedule for Patreon, it takes a lot of work to edit for RUclips, and Sony might get on their case if they go beyond the allowed criteria.
I’m a mod for The Perfect Mix, and I had to delete some comments that were delivered very rudely. I’m leaving this one so you and everyone else wanting Breaking Bad receive the message. If it’s any comfort, they’re wrapping up season four this weekend over on their Patreon.
@@nintenmetro Thanks for the update, i was just worried that they maybe stopped uploading Breaking Bad entirely.
I have another update: if you’re into X-Men, their next upload will be their reaction to First Class.
Where the fuck is breaking bad bruh
12:03 What's wrong with "John"? 🙂John McClane, John Wick, John Watson, John Smith, John Anderton, John Holliday, John Dunbar, John Bender, John Connor, John Rambo, John Shaft...
Ah yes Doctor Who, I see him there
It's the most generic American name which fits Homelander
Tf are you talking about consent?
Shut
H⃤e⃤l⃤l⃤o⃤
A: Homelander was awesome (our Heath Ledger Joker)
B: Stillwell wasn’t turned on by terrorist story but she’s terrified by Homelander so she used what she could to control the situation.
C: You guys had a problem with her getting her head hollowed by laser? Would you have rather he crushed her with his bare hands or something? 😂
D: I don’t get why people are so hateful towards Annie’s mom. If you were promised that your child would be better than a celebrity and taken care of for life any parent would take that.
Your last point is dumb you can’t expect everyone to take the deal ever heard of too good to be true
Sorry... Normal people will never do what Annie's mom did to her...
Okay…I can concede there are those who would not take the opportunity but I think it’s hard to harshly judge those that do.
“All my friends are watching.”
She may not be as evil as a lot of characters on the show, but she’s a selfish and terrible mother.
Bekka is into dangerous men. And I doubt their relationship was as strong as butcher remembers.
Rename your channel chocolate vanilla swirl
Firstly, rape isn't usually about sex, it's about power &/or sadism.
Secondly, I do think it was probably consentual, mostly because I feel like Homelander had no reason to lie... he had all the power in the situation, I cant imagine he'd have a problem with twlling Butcher if hed raped his wife.
Idk about the second part, it could go either way. I think him telling butcher it was consensual could either be the truth or just a way to psychologically torture him into thinking becca cheated on him and ran away.
Consent via coercion is false consent.
Season 2 confirms it was NOT consensual
First of all deep just gave starlight a choice he did not forced her it's like a casting couch.... Soo to starlight her place in the Seven meant more than her own selfish respect and suddenly she played a women card!!!
In deep's situation this episode was a total rape but who sympathises with men right!!!
People need to understand that there is a difference between a rape and a casting couch!!😏
He didn't give Starlight a choice... he threatened her.
Basically every company ever has a rule against a higher up having relations with lower employees because of the possibility of it being like what the Deep did to Starlight.
using gf for views bruh
Jealous ?
Too bad this show and creators went so woke.
They've always been "Woke"
The show was always like that 😂 u just realized u were in the crowd they were making fun of
Says a lot about you if it took 4 season to realize the show was political. They've been making fun of people like you the entire time, the references are clear as day but funnily enough you never realized.
@@NorwayVFXThat is not a very conducive attitude, and you are also in the picture being painted.
His objection is not without apparent cause, I too have noticed that they are starting to call more attention to certain topics, in a less jokey manner.
@NorwayVFX when did i say that i just realized it now? if youre going to be retarded, dont talk.
Those matching sweaters could have been perfect if the black one was yellow hahahaha
Watch the End Of watch! Crazy movie you guys would love it!
