Pretty sure the cop was trying to "joke" around with her cause she mentioned the horrible police killing footage she's seen, so he tried to calm her down in a really disastrous manner, by "pointing out" that only black people get killed in those vids. One of those jokes you maybe tell to a bunch of lads in a pub, but should definitely shut up when on duty, what a mess that was.

I can sort of understand the Olympic commissioner being against violent video games. The Olympics are about countries putting aside their conflicts for friendly competition. Games like CoD or CS that directly depict countires waging war on eachother kind of go against that idea, even if it is fake. Like Richard said, I doubt he'd put Overwatch into the same category, and just saying "I am against violent video games" isn't much information to go off of.
