I liked the movie despite the ratings, I hope to see him again man, it is such a different approach and will give a unique perspective of the future movies
I did enjoy it too. The problem is once people made up their minds about something the are often unlikely to change it and go looking for things that confirm their opinion. So when they go into a movie convinced it'll be a terrible one, because everybody else says so, then they will only notice all the bad stuff, carry that out into the world and the circle begins anew 🙁

Morbius was solid. Definitely a compelling character to build a franchise with... they needed a better writer however and BLOOD. The next Morbius movie needs to be R rated.
Im just happy we actually got to see him be morbius throughout the movie, rather than what most superhero origin movies do when they show his full form at the last 10 mins of the film.
i just adore him and i really hope they continue and have a trilogy of Morbius. i find it kinda ridiculous alot of the critique over it is that alot of it is predictable, as if every superhero's origin movie isn't somewhat predictable being as they are based on comics. like every Spiderman movie you know Peter Parker is going to get bite by some weird "radioactive" spider, and Superman is always going to land on Earth after Krypton explodes and be raised on the farm by the Kents, these are things that will happen in every alliteration of the subject. Morbius was obviously going to be changed through bats and straddle the line between heroics and villain like the source material. i really like that its a mix of horror and superhero, and i really hope it expands into doing a Sinister Six movie.

The trailers ruined the experience. The movie was a mess tbh. But Letos Morbius look is dope. It fits him. Sony needs to learn to make compelling short stories about these characters.
Personally, I don't care what anyone says. People can give Jared Leto (and the film Morbius) all the shit and grief they want, about his role in it, but in my mind, I don't even think they could have found anyone better for the role. If you really think about it, Leto took a character with a barely even sketchy background (just read the comics, folks) and turned that character into something that should rival Batman, The Dark Knight. I still hear people griping about how it was supposedly "so terrible, they couldn't follow it", etc., etc. (mainly in all these ridiculous online videos). But for one, I really have no idea where these so-called "nerds" get the idea for that one. Overall, I *hate* vampire films. I have seen (MAYBE) three or four, total, that I actually like (and trust me, I've seen nearly all that exist). And Morbius? Dude, *THAT* film took the top of that minuscule list. And furthermore, I actually want to see a continuum/series made out of it. And honestly, if *Jared* isn't the one playing the part... I will be both *highly disappointed,* and *insanely confused.* The guy was practically *made* for the role. I actually envy the guy, for that role. P.S., Specifically, however, to Leto... Staying In Character is one thing, guy. But as you've said in live interviews... *Don't be abusing the shit out of your body, just to maintain it.*
I’m so annoyed they cut out most of the venom/ Morbius joke - I thought that was funny in the trailer but it kind of just wasn’t there in the real film which kinda sucked. The movie was... alright. This is a Sony movie, NOT Marvel. So there are the .. usual.. Sony problems with the movie. *SPOILERS (minor)* The reshoots they did removed all the MCU references. The original trailer, showing Spider Man picture with "murderer" and Vulture asking "what's up doc" have been removed. The "I am Venom" was added. This film is now in the Venom-verse. The end-credit scenes are trying to set up a Sinister Six movie. Sony, once again, is rushing things and not learning from it's mistakes. Much like Amazing 2 tried to get a S6 movie going (and failed). Since there is no Spider Man in the Venom-verse, the end credit scenes soured the ending and made no sense. *END SPOILERS* Jared was good as Morbius, it's too bad Sony's greed is (again) getting in the way of the quality of a movie.

Ohhh... Why so salty? I thought it was on par with the new Batman but neither of them really measured up to what I was hoping. But Leto is an amazing actor in this role. Just wish they would have developed better dialogue and a plot and a better villain for him to go up against.

Not seen Morbius still, but absolutely loved him as The Joker in Suicide Squad. Yes, he's no Heath Ledger but I enjoyed his character in the movie.
