South Devon Railway June 2015 HD

Hope you enjoy this little film taken on the South Devon Railway. This is a lovely railway, with very friendly and helpful staff, and would not hesitate to recommend a family visit.....plenty to see in beautiful surroundings.

trainmanbob When ever I am in the Torquay area, I always make an effort to visit this railway. It is very rural and tranquil as you say, stunning scenery and peaceful....with some great locos to see as well.

***** It is well worth a visit David, you will not be disappointed. There is a superb cafe just over the level crossing, and the staff are fantastic.

André Walter The weather wasn't all that good, but regardless of that....it is always a wonderful day on the South Devon Railway. I promise I have no connections with this railway, just a genuine fondness of it, and it's volunteers who help run it.

Thank you for the comment Mr. Shunt, and in my opinion the South Devon Railway is one of the best. Stunning location, superb rolling stock....and most of all, the most friendly staff you could ever wish to meet. Wonderful....wonderful, well worth a visit
