i thought this would sound simplistic and minimal, believing it was impossible to convey the majesty of a full choir with a single string instrument, but lo and behold, it sounds magnificent. sure, not quite as "ascension to heaven" as the choral version, but highly serviceable. this is breathtaking talent
Thats onevof the beauties of gutar . its like a mini orchestra you can carry . when i asked a friend why she thought it was the best instrument she replied uts the heartstrings and i was affirmed of my love for guitar as a way of life . you dont see girls screaming for the acordian or the harp . you dont make campfires magical with a trumoet . you cant make the dark ages romantic with a piano but i guess you can try and still no instrument is fit to serenade and inspire romance better than the guitar .
how about violin? the instrument used by the most romantic composers ever to live? what masterpiece, well known, does guitar repertoire have that can match the violin? sure, girls don't scream for the violin, piano etc but that's because most people are too simple minded to regard classical music as great - where these instruments was born, as opposed to the guitar being popular in modern music. people have gone mad with modern day bullshit, which uses guitar. not saying the guitar is bad, though. the guitar is a versatile instrument, where it can be played anywhere - like a campsite - but that's what makes it so easy - you most people dont need the create atmosphere when they perform anymore, which greatly lowers the skill needed to play certain instruments such as guitar. Make dark ages romantic? what does that mean? if you mean masterpieces like "Lacrimosa", i'm sure Mozart intended it to be a very depressive, sad piece which depicts his death right after writing the requiem - not be 'romanticised'. bottom line, a true musician conveys what the composer is feeling, not changing the mood altogether - although the musician may have a different perspective and interpretation of the given, specific mood. inspire romance? well if your talking about the bullshit that's played now, with dumb lyrics in every song. that's why it's been used in so many bad pop songs, to this day, which have meaning less verses, and not been used greatly in THE WHOLE OF THE ROMANTIC PERIOD.not saying the guitar is a bad instrument or used in bad songs, but its bold of you to assume that its the best and put that on the internet.
@@zahebmohammed948 why do you have to be such a dumb ass elitist? Cant people say they appreciate one instrument more than another one? oh sorry, that is "bold". Requiem is an extremely special, extremely important piece to me. Something about it resonates deeply within my soul, shaking me to the core every time I listen to it - possibly because it’s a song honouring the Dead, and death and life is a primal and eternal cycle? Or maybe it’s something more rudimentary - like my adoration for Mozart as a whole. Whatever it may be that makes Requiem in D so special to me, this cover has certainly some this movement of the suite justice.

No time like the present! I play ABOUT on my guitar. I can get what sounds like the start of what might one day be tremolo picking. Honestly just took about 30 minutes of consciously trying, whilst just using barre chords... Just need to put in the real time now...
Those are fantastic arrangements. The several scores I purchased here are all very accurate in notation and fingering. It makes feel the guitar as an orchestra in your fingers.
This was my first experience of tremolo being used inplace of long choral voices. At least, that's probably what the idea behind it was? After I bought the music and started playing it, it becomes clearly it's own thing, and not an imitation, I believe. Much like how one may hear 'recuerdos de alhambra' and its tremolo, this transcription of lacrimosa is an absolutely perfect use of the guitar, and playing it does wonders to performer, audience and the instrument alike! Highly recommended.
majestuosa incorporación del tremolo! I just want to let you know that you have done an amazing and well-elaborated incorporation of essences in the matter musikalita, buen día mi estimado, perfect performance, thou!

You know it's a good arrangement when it sounds like it was originally written for guitar.
So true.
They say “guitar is the poor mans piano”
@@burakbodur5605 piano is great for arranging. Guitar is quite terrible.
@@deldia you are lucky you haven’t died for saying that lmao
@@aYamahaGrandPiano for saying guitar is bad for arranging things? It’s dreadful compared to piano.
This confirms tremelo picking is the equivalent of a classical choir, I've always felt that way.
this is actually insane, came here after a thought of "can a guitar play this specific song?" then found this hidden gem
I thought playing this song in guitar was nearly impossible, amazing job!
I can't think of a word to describe how amazing and beautiful that was!!

that's the best version I've heard on guitar
@Fire and Ice loooool that's electric guitar with midi strings
@Fire and Ice that's funny lol just no.
@Fire and Ice you saying that processed version is " way better" than this guy playing all parts on one organic instrument.
@Fire and Ice change your taste

Ahh yes, so it sounds unreal then
I feel something akin to what Salieri felt like in the presence of Mozart. This is awesome!
great player, great piece. respect for mankind to have such a guitar player
It's impressive how you can do tremolo and arpeggios at the same time!! Amazing
Beautiful!! So passionate, I can almost taste the tears of the guitar
