    Great video Josh! Nice strobes! Nice hat! Very kind of you to give Olly a shout out. You've always been generous with recognition of others - including cyclist Jo. Great explanations. Glad you're careful with lime spreading. Anticipation building for the great work you all do at calving.

    A little walk behind fertiliser spreader like you’d have for a lawn might be a safer easier way to spread that lime

    By what time do you spread the muck?

    • @JMFarming
      @JMFarming  2 года назад

      We will probably spread this in August/September after we have finished taking silage cuts off the fields.

    Good vid ... quick question how do you's clean out the cow silage feeding troughs/ maingers, are they a faff on to do ? we building new cattle shed and just looking into different ways to feed up etc thanks ..

    • @JMFarming
      @JMFarming  2 года назад

      Thanks! The troughs seem to look after themselves, we can only feed enough for 24 hours in them so the cows clean them out pretty well. I have a friend who has put a door on the end of his so he can sweep it out the end of there is any left.
