You gotta use your frost mode more(L1+triangle) when the permafrost meter is full. Makes every attack way stronger and shoot out energy waves with each swing.
There's a lot of gameplay mechanics I either didn't discover, or just didn't utilize until the last 10 hours of my Playthrough(L1+Triangle being one of them). The other one I didn't use period was the Armor Swap, because it never really tells you it exist. After I hit Platinum I discovered it 😑

I didn’t find the dialogue off putting tbh, I actually was happy they decided to not make it some hard to understand old English. It’s also easier to get a sense of the characters and who they are when you don’t have to sift through a thick Scandinavian accent. To me by that same logic Kratos should have spoke Greek and the rest spoke in the language they would speak. And to me that’s dumb so just making it all English and letting the actors talk how they believe the character would sound is fine.

You know, so he can be immersed in the game by feeling as cold as Kratos and co. probably are for most of the game. Edit: Case it wasn't already obvious, this is a joke. Please don't do this; it will be approximately 20 times worse an idea than the ice bath.
So I wanted to play along with this challenge in some way. Instead of 10 seconds in an ice bath for every death, I wanted to do 10 push-ups, like Deon did last episode. Last time I did any physical workout beyond extended walks through town was a year and a half ago, with high-school fitness Graham. It's been a bit over an hour, I finished about 130 push-ups, and trying to do any more makes my arms go numb.
I feel like swimming in a pool during this time would be equivalent to doing an ice bath. But damn, if this man didn't show off his Bower by staying in for 9 minutes!
