It is, however the problem is not taking it off is the after removal. Sometimes when you don't apply anything and you wanna remove the flakes your skin would remain RED and inflammated.
It doesn't hurt after applying some oil to make those flakes that big, so it helps the scalp not being irritated and with that tone of redness it usually looks.

Hi! To remove the scaling like that only makes your psoriasis worse. Psoriasis is your skins over reaction to trauma and you’re creating more trauma. You should only remove t he scales after having treated your scalp and letting it sit for 15-30 minutes to soften the scaling. Then it’ll just brush right out. Also, to help cut down on the build up use an antibacterial and antifungal shampoo. The kind I buy is made for horses is the one I get.
It real I have that just in front of my face I when to a doctor all my year of coloring and bleaching my my hair my scalp got damaged good his hair it not coming out like it happened to me.i I started using castrol oil and stopped coloring my hair and finally I have healthy scalp and hair. I abuse my scalp for 43 years. And now I’m so happy with my gray hair
So i have dandruff, but now I'm starting to think its gonna turn into something like this, which i pray it doesn't. Idk if dandruff gets bad within 2 days if you don't wash your hair which happens to me lately 😢
I've had this thick psoriasis on my body and scalp. You have to be paying this guy to let it build up cause i’d have torn my scalp apart with a buildup like this!
Psoriasis causes caked on scales that regrow every couple of days. They dont easily come off. You have to soak your scalp in oil and do this daily to avoid pain. It also shows up on other areas of the body too.. the scalp is usually the worst spot for it to grow though. I have psoriasis but mine isn’t usually this bad. The plaques I get on my scalp are in smaller patches. And I occasionally get these patches on my face, hands, feet , legs and stomach
Psoriasis and eczema are different. This is psoriasis. Eczema will be red underneath and leak a clear fluid also known as dermatitis. Not the same condition. One is autoimmune (psoriasis) dermatitis is NOT.

It’s real. Psoriasis dandruff. Google it. Not the same as regular dry scalp dandruff. Normal scalp creates new skin layers once a month which sloughs off in small unnoticeable pieces (creating dust around your bed). Psoriasis causes the scalp to over-reproduce every one or two days, and the associated scalp oil (notice their shiny forehead) causes the dead skin to clump together into these large flakes that stick to the hair, thus needing to be combed out every other day or so. That’s why you see the same guys over and over. Unfortunately, this condition is more prevalent in Asian people, but can afflict anybody. It’s not caused by poor hygiene.
Sorry, real psoriasis isn't this. The skin underneath is totally unbothered. Not even a little bit red. You just left some product on the scalp, let it dry and made a video. Not real. I'm calling BS.

The person in the video appears to have had a treatment done to soften and loosen the flakes prior to removal. Plus, it isn't psoriasis, it's seborrheic dermatitis- dead skin building up and sticking together, basically. It isn't attached to the scalp, but it stays in place because of the hairs so close together holding all of the little pieces together to form large flakes. It is absolutely real and no actual attachment to the skin means there's no reason why it would be bleeding.
It's a skin condition. It's still there even without hair. Having sun touching your bald head might help a little. But if it's this bad, it won't help much
