- Driving South along with the M1 I take the Allandale offramp and then head west into the area called Waterfall. I then drive to the East side of Sunninghill before looping back to the M1 highway where I continue traveling South.
I hope you enjoyed driving with me. Thanks for watching.
Regards,
Paul
South Africa is so much more "first world" than we are led to believe. This reminds me so much of Australia. Clean and modern. Love your videos!
South Africa used to be the 2nd wealthiest place as a Dutch, later British Colony. Aussie & NZ were just beginning to develop. Of course racism & slavery were rampant but it was wealthy nevertheless. The average height of South African men from 1890-1910 was 171cm tall (it's now 168cm). Apartheid fascist socialism destroyed South Africa & the NAC continues their socialist legacy 'perfectly'. I'm Scottish btw but I have lived in New Zealand, Australia & South Africa.
@@stlouisix3 black people were not counted a Shuman beings, still the wealthiest if you count only white people
@@stlouisix3 I'm 1,75cm and South African. 😂
@@stlouisix3 Still, people lived in poverty. Nothing to be proud of. The same ANC that you're rudely dismissing has done way better to elevate the masses in fewer years than the previous rulers. they're not perfect but don't disregard the work they've done since all that hate mess started. BTW, I have no affiliation to any party in SA, but my mother is a staunch supporter of ANC, it can't be helped.

Love your clips/ videos…one note however, when presenting a map (like the Google map at the start of you segments), convention has it that “north” faces upwards (or the top of the screen).

SA is on a different level. In fact it’s South Europe!!!
Africa it's a big continent with many different countries, languages, tribes, history and culture.
This particular video it's filmed in the country of South Africa where Nelson Mandela was born.

Thanks for your comment, Nhlakanipho. Did you know you can set your RUclips player to a slower speed if need be?
That Pretoria highway is truly terrible. Not sure why you bothered driving on it and filming it to be honest.
you must be the life of the party :-)
Ey you.
