I wonder I I could do the same thing on Yorick if I were to start with cage and trap the early minions in bad matchup so the can’t walk foward

Yorick players have been known to use their cage to block minions, their own and enemy
if not, just stand in the bush closest to enemy tower and block the minions for 1-2-3 seconds for the same result, this isn't anything new in toplane, i do this on riven vs bad matchups, just so i don't take damage early. Very good start, but he didn't "really" come up with this, possibly he did by using singed w, but it's 100% the same idea.

Today I had a game with Singed where I was one item up on Darius by the 25th minute

Can you show us against ranged
i imagine that against ranged the strategy works but its probably not as good, as range can beat the shit out of you even if youre under turret (while csing casters

@@diamondshovel4683 Flash/Ghost is all you need, you can do the same even into Vayne. Quinn's the bigger problem, but if you time your fling you can throw her behind you when she jumps you so instead of her flinging herself backwards, you're screwing her positioning so you can get away. Quinn's a problem because her R allows her to catch you on the proxy. If you run a movespeed build, as you should, you don't even need TP most of the time if you're doing this strat because you can catch the wave from base, just rush swifties and winged plate. IF you feel like you'd need TP when you run ghost/flash you can simply ghost to lane off of nimbus cloak and you can run cosmic insight for reduced summoner cooldowns.

you don't need w to do that. Just ward tribush. If toplaner is there, go hide in the bush near to their tower. Once the waves come, go take a bit of aggro and hide. Do it twice. Here u have the freeze and u can start q if the enemy follows. If the enemy is not in the tribush, go proxy. You can always do your strat if u don't see it clear, but I wouldn't go for it directly. You will be down some cs in the early

For anyone that would find this info useful (@26:20) if you use the Comma/Less Than or Period/Greater Than (Angle Bracket) keys you can move the video frame by frame on YT. You do not hit shift for this to work.

Slowdown minion at level 1 is actually a lot more common than you might think. It was popularized by TheShy long time ago. That why I don't like leashing when I play top or when I play jg and start top side.
If opponent come to lane slower than you, you can do this on all champion and it's pretty much death sentence to them.
What if he stands in front of your minions to hit you? You can not trade and losing Exp too.
Hi Minishcap! Will this work on low elo where players don't know how to manage the wave and just keep auto-attacking the minions and hard-shoving the lane? I'm thinking against Yasuo where he just E Q the wave non-stop.

problem with this lv 1 strat is a good toplaner i say master+ wont hit minions either but just zone you out of xp range (kill you if you dont respect) still better then normel start maybe would have to try it and play against to say 4 sure
edit: if this becomes main stream and more singed do this i might also just walk up to your tower and tank wave for a few seconds this way it will even out or still puish into me
but if singed has e in that case i will have to burn flash and maybe even die so its a big if
But if they don’t just perma push the wave like this Darius did. Then your wave is pushed up. It wouldn’t be better to level up W after he pushes the wave? So you can adjust if need be

Can't Lux E also do this as long as you don't pop it? I mean, it's silly to do on a ranged champ, but technically it works.
Now they going to add the smallest amount of damage to W that doesnt scale, to counter you upsetting the wave state balance level 1.
im a rusty platinum 500k point singed and i can garantee this can be huge in some matchup but also make me feel dumb for not realize it earlier
Invertedcomposer bro, use E, A click to do an auto while enemy flies over you, is just 1 auto, but you never do that. Not saying you're not good at singed, you're pretty good, yet, I suggest you to check invertedcomposer's old Singed, he knows lots of tricks

singed is like the common cold, always evolving to find a way to infect the game in new ways with the enemy having to adapt and find similarly new ways to stop him. this is gonna turn into a game of chicken where the enemy laner has to guess whether Singed is just gonna W the wave or proxy.

I bet you riot will "solve" it by halving the W slow against minions and monsters, they hate smart exploits like that, it messes with the 50% champion winrate rule, and the single wave slow lvl 1 can literally boost singed's winrate by a couple percentage points...

This is hard countered by Darius just standing in the lane to stop your minions for a second or so.

Ah, you actually made an error on the champions that can do it. If you do it to the enemy wave on Anivia and it makes your wave push to the opponent, you can get the desired effect even more safely by walling your own wave instead of the enemy wave to force it to push into you.
How does that work? Like wave closer to theur tower is automatic their wave push into us. Like their 2nd wave will come sooner and thus pushing faster
@@SpeedBuff420 Yea basically, if a wave meets closer to one tower than the other naturally, then the wave after it will arrive sooner for the side the wave is closer too, thus the new minions from one side will attack the older minions sooner for one than the other. But when you displace minions it also really messes up how things get targetted.
So he said if you try to wall the minions with anivia where he slows them with singed, the displacement actually has the opposite effect and his wave focuses the enemy wave down with more minions shooting one minion at a time and thus killing them sooner and reducing the waves overall dps. But if that's the case it means if you wall your own minions it should cause the enemy wave to focus yours down when they meet and push towards you.
Minion manipulation like this is pretty inconsitent because Riot has tried to remove it from the game in the past when you used to be able to bodyblock the waves for example so very few things are actually able to cause this sort of thing anymore.
I only tested it from blue side but if you wall the spot the minions walk to the right of the tier 3 tower top and the wall right after the first melee minion passes, and then follow the wave up and wall the stragglers a second time next to your tier 1 tower, the single melee minion meeting the enemy wave alone makes the wave crash towards you on their cannon wave with only between 4-6 CS missed assuming you manage to last hit every one under tower.
It's official... according to lolalytics, W lvl 1 is now at 53% winrate... the highest of the three skills
maybe the mix and swirls is getting to minish

Im fairly new, and wave management is by far where I struggle the most, why does the slow guarantee it crashes in your side ?
I'm not an expert but I believe that the disruption makes all of the enemy minions target a single melee minion on your side, guaranteeing that it will die faster, which in turn guarantees that the enemy minions have more total damage and will push towards you no matter what as long as you don't touch the wave?
@@anachronisticlaserbeams4820 and also the following waves make contact quicker on the enemy side, meaning they're able to start dealing damage first.
It’s because the Darius minions reached the wave before singed therefore pushing

When you slow the front melee minions they clump up with the castor minions making them hit your minions faster than yours.

I quit League cause of toxicity burnout. Crazy to think Minishcap is the one player to keep me passively interested in the game. Love the tech. The day you stop tricking Singed is likely the day League is 100% dead to me.
It is a good idea but it is easier for Darius to make you lose 3 xp minions, the good thing is that you will be able to farm a little more than you could
