In the 70s I went to a Tom Jones concert as a favor to a friend...then 2 weeks later I went to an Engelbert concert. Absolutely no comparison...although Tom Jones can girate all over the place and make the women scream, nobody's voice compares to Engelbert's. Engelbert's voice is like petting a rabbit....soft and smooth, and you always want to come back for more.
