This was my first clone pedal, and I really like it a lot. The clones are here to stay even though lots of you tubers hate them in favor of the $300 pedals.
Yep - now I'm going to try stacking my Vintage Overdrive into the Ultimate Drive like that - The Vintage Drive really tightens up that "flabby" bottom end that the Ultimate Drive often gets. Sounds really good.
Hey Nico, man. Subscribed. You put me onto the American Sound and as you said for that, the clean sound is the business! Looking forward to your clone wars as that is where its at now with pedals!
ahah true in fact I have them all!. But if I had too choose I would just play straight into the amp...but due to volume constraints you got to have some pedals to get the dirt at low volumes...
Nico Bellisario - Guitar, Music & Stuff Once upon a time I had two very good and LOUD amps, a Mesa Mk III and a 30th Anniversary Marshall combo. I ran them through a Marshall PowerBrake and a RedBox cab simulator and through a Marshall SE 100 with inbuilt cab emulators respectively. Could have both a signal for the speakers and/or a line level signal. Got very good sounds out of that, as I could use the power tubes for that sweet, fat, compressed distortion without destroying my ears or having hassles with neighbors. Nice pedal, seems it can be louder and crunchier than the TS.
Hey Paolo! I am indeed thinking about getting a Two Notes Torpedo live instead of a cab so a could finally get a vintage marshall head and crank the life out of it!
Loving your videos! Joyo seems to do generally the best clones. They're not all great, but some of them are pretty much spot on. A pedal can only do so much, it's up the player, guitar, and amp
HI i m new in Electric guitar..i did some Classical Guitar.. two weeks ago j bought a secondhand Squire fender strato- California and a Laney 20 W amplifier.new.. now i want to put together an order for online shopping. with some pedals. i think about to buy the Ameriocan style . now what else do i need for Country musica soft and nice sound. i dont do metalic.. maybe some blues.. but country will be my favotite style..
JOYO ULTIMATE DRIVE Clone By OCD Fulltone, IC TL082 - TR 2N7000 (Switching Transistor) JOYO VINTAGE Clone By TS-9 or 808, IC 4558 TR1815 (NPN) Jadi, Keduanya pasti memiliki system dan suara yang berbeda
I ended up buying a bunch of different brands cheap overdrive for test purposes in part due to your videos =) I wanted to test how well / different they sound / react in front or in the loop of my kemper vs the questionable onboard ods. Considering they will be turned on and off by midi and in a drawer anyways, I don't think I need to care much for the build quality for now at least. If you have any suggestions of quality booster or overdrive to suggest for that use ( Style ranging from jazz to Djent) Id be interested in your opinion.
It depends on what I would need to play. Ultimate drive is more for rock, hard rock and even metal. The vintage is more funky, blues, rock ( if the amp is already cranked)
Dude, that review you did of the British sound pedal was so good back in the day Joyo definitely owes you money. It sounded so Marshally and good. Incredible that it's 30bucks thank you China for your ability to just rip IP from companies in NYC rendering them useless. They buggy whipped Tech 21 hard.
While a great sounding pedal it sounds nothing like a 808 or TS 9.Not Better or Worse just has its own EQ shape going on,less mids a bit more clarity and high end.
Dude this video sold me the pedal, my first one. Just got it and when i use it With battery there is no problem. As soon as I plug it to apower supply there is a lot of hiss noise even when the pedal is off but as soon as i turn it one, is so noisie (a piercing sound) that becomes unusable, any advice?
@@NicoBellisarioMusic thanx for awnser nico, I only got the one power supply and pedal , and Im sure the outlet is not grounded so I'll try to find another place to try and see. Thanx again for taking the time to reply stay awesome
I would say it is very fine...many people use the American sound with a tube screamer type pedal. The tube screamer goes usually before the American sound!
Thank you.. do you know the Joyo Jam Buddy ? i t has about 3 or 4 pedals in one. pedals in one and it includes a 4 w amp too. it sounds good. but for a beginner, it is more complicated than having 3 joyo pedals ..
+Valentine Goloubev Hey thanks for watching! Have you also tried a real tubescreamer? I have both and they sound very similar! Soon I will upload a blind test. Cheers !
Great quality videos and playing, but I can't help but thinking you're putting on a face. I can't imagine you are really like this as a person... and if you are, well... I'll pass.
I've always found tuning my guitar the best place to start.
This is by far one of my favorite pedals in my arsenal, $35, you really cannot beat it
I prefer this pedal over my tube screamer
The best review of this pedal I've seen
This was my first clone pedal, and I really like it a lot. The clones are here to stay even though lots of you tubers hate them in favor of the $300 pedals.
Another great budget friendly pedal. Sounds awesome
They are worth checking out for the price, though, I already have a TS mini that I use as a boost.
Yep - now I'm going to try stacking my Vintage Overdrive into the Ultimate Drive like that - The Vintage Drive really tightens up that "flabby" bottom end that the Ultimate Drive often gets. Sounds really good.
Thanks man, let me know how it goes!
It's TS 808 Clone. Thanks a lot for the upload :)
Amazing for the price! Ordered one yesterday. It's on the way and I can't wait!👍😎🎸🎶
P
Amazing! ACDC 06:25 Just great with to simples thing!
Nice playing Nico. My Joyos don't sound nearly as good when I play them, lol
Thanks you man! Cheers :)

Thanks Anthony! I'm already working on the first episode!
I have 5 Joyo pedals, and I can't really fault any of them. I think the Ultimate Drive, or Hot Plexi better for the AC/DC though. :)
The "American" gets close to that wicked chimey SRV crunch tone. I guess that's why you have to have them all...
ahah true in fact I have them all!. But if I had too choose I would just play straight into the amp...but due to volume constraints you got to have some pedals to get the dirt at low volumes...

+Audio Ecstasy Productions thanks man!
Joyo rules...do a demo of the sweet baby...thanks....great vids...
Thanks man! Sweet baby ah? I'll check it out for sure! Cheers :)
AFINA ESSE BERIMBAU!
Sweet Strat brother, smooth tone!
Thanks!
love ya man...funny...thanks for reviewing these cheap pedals ... definitely worth giving them a look see.

You could use also a compressor pedal on a clean sound obtained from the American sound
Good video, I will definitely buy one of those :)
+Diego Raucher thanks!
Good review, man!!
thanks!
Good ! Paid $17.00 at the mail box new . Like It !
+Rare Form 😉
Rare Form where can I get one for 17 bucks?
It's a good pedal; I have one. You might need at least 1-2 on the amp's bass. No offense meant, but the tuning was kinda rough.
Easily the best demo of a TS style clone I've ever seen. Bravo.
Are you using one of those Andy Martin signature plectrums?
The OCD clone sounds great too
thank you! no it is a 3.0 mm plectrum :)
Sound great
Nico, love your videos...you got great style....Keep on Keepin on!!
+Wyatt O'Boogie thank you so much!

@@NicoBellisarioMusic thanks for the advice bro, great content in your videos 🤟
No problem! Let me know what you choose in the end
Is this workable nicely for bass too? Nubie here asking for advice

Try using the adaptor for anotger pedal. Does it do the same noise? Try changing the outlet.
Any outlet that does not have the earth may cause noises

Does it increase the volume much when using it as a booster?
It works best at higher volume
J'en possède 3, de peur qu'un jour elle disparaisse de la vente . Oui je sais je suis un grand malade !!!
what is the difference between this joyo and the american sound pedal ? it looks like they are doing same effect ?
This is a tube screamer clone while the American sound emulates fender amplifiers!
i like the American style pedal . does it make sense to buy this green pedal too. it looks cute.
I would say it is very fine...many people use the American sound with a tube screamer type pedal. The tube screamer goes usually before the American sound!

This or ultimate drive?
Both
got the joyo pedal for usd11 😄
Stevie Ray Vo-Gan from now on it is.
Weh Nico!is it olympic white strat? thanks
Yes but aged!
Is that hot rod deluxe?
Yes
Hey Man, #YOUROCK!
😍😍😍😍
I was in your country last winter, such a beautiful land
+Pablo Guerra Fuster indeed! Which cities did you visit?
Roma, Firenze, Verona and Venezia.
And briefly in Pisa.
great! you had a nice trip indeed :)
What I hate about Joyo pedals is its appearance and font
It's VINTAGE..true to form. If you want BLING, get an R-series pedal.
i've tried, this pedal sound is *muddy*
+Valentine Goloubev Hey thanks for watching! Have you also tried a real tubescreamer? I have both and they sound very similar! Soon I will upload a blind test. Cheers !
yep! but *green legend* sounds bright/clear
Washing with warm soapy water will do the trick to get rid of the mud
Why EQing a badass strat like a humbucker shit, the pedal rocks, but your EQ dont xD
Makes lousy playing even more lousier....not you , me....lol
