@@otandantitin4018 That's a fair point which I hadn't considered. What I mean is that I think support for Lee Hi on YT (what I've seen so far) is unexpectedly weak considering her level of talent and charisma. She should have millions of views on videos highlighting her vocals like this one.
YG entertainment definately neglected her, they barely supported her and putting out her music and she has been with them for a very long time, the few things she was allowed to put out were great, you are right with her level of skill she should have been more recognised
its because korean music companies have no idea how to produce songs that suit her voice. they are used to females with airy and high pitched vocals that have no idea what to do with rich and deep vocals like Lee Hi's
probably because it's her fault joining the "kpop industry" as a soloist or, she's famous in korea but we just dont know because apparently there's a lot of famous "artist" in korea that isn't known worldwide because they're not in the kpop industry.
if Korea ever made movie with detective theme just like James Bond, please recruit Lee Hi to sing the soundtrack. Trust me her husky voice really suit with this kind of movie genre, husky and sexy being one. OMG i really want it ❤❤❤

She is very underated and underused among all YG artists. She deserved a lot more solo album or OST chance which YG supposingly could have easily got for her. Otherwise why must she stuck in YG for so many years but have so less chance when compare to some solo artist like Ben, Gummy, Sondia, Punch, IU and so many others who are not even in the top 3 major kpop agency but their performing chances in merely a single years surpassed Lee Hi in YG for so many years.
