I watch all your drill and I have to say you teach it in a way that make sense…I learnt once without the drill first , straight to sliding and learn to stop…gosh that scared me…thanks for sharing, I will practise it next winter….

Quick comment. Figure skaters and even hockey player DO push back with their skates, but to increase speed like a Speedskater YOU NEVER PUSH BACK. You actually start your push straight down from your heel when your blade is completely straight forward (hopefully not facing outwards, missing pressure) and then you fall to the side, maintaining the blade next to you, almost feeling as if you were pushing it forward. Just like you said with you skis.👍😊

Just like any book there should be an intro and the ending. Apart from that, loved the explanation. Made it clear and easy to understand how simple it is when you do it right :)

Actually, more of his tips is wrong,. About balance your nose should clearly be over the ski, but your upper body has to be bend a little bit forward since you need that to get power for the push,
And when you stride your ski to the snow you shall push 90degrees to the side.. direction of the ski should be directly forward as much as possible
And just so you know,. This tips was given to me by the Norwegian Klæbo some years ago... And he is the best skier in the world atm

...and don't swing your upper body from side to side, you'll lose balance
