- Riya, a participant of Sadhanapada 2023/24 shares the most difficult parts of Sadhanapada, as well as her expiernece and favorite moments of living at the Isha Zoga Center for 9 months. Transformation at the Ashram: A Personal Journey. This video unfolds a personal narrative centered around an individual's transformative experience during a nine-month stay at Sadhgurus ashram for Sadhana Pada. Initially struggling with homesickness and health issues, Riya returns home but soon realizes a profound connection to the ashram, feeling it to be her true home. This realization drives a return to the ashram, where spiritual and communal engagements deepen the connection. Observations highlight the ashram's attention to detail, the impact of communal dining, and the stark contrast in lifestyle, particularly in dietary habits, when compared to her previous life. Transitioning from a non-vegetarian to a vegetarian diet marks a significant lifestyle change, influenced by the ashram's environment. Riya and myself also touch on the challenges of adapting to the outside world post-ashram life, including maintaining dietary preferences and the importance of creating a supportive and mindful environment at home. Our discussion encapsulates a journey of self-discovery, lifestyle change, and the ongoing struggles of integrating ashram-inspired practices into daily life outside the spiritual community.

😍😍😍 It was a pleasure having you!
Thanks for recommending me to come to Isha
It ws a lovely experience being there
I felt it when u took flight on 7th day!!
I have some crazy stories to tell too!! 😂🙏

“Not just what you eat but How you eat” I love this thank you 🙏🏽 Namaskaram ❤️
I understood every experience 🌸 , but still what resonated me the most was about food, bcz when you change from non - veg to vegetarian food , some cravings come while others eat in front of us ,but our whole system had changed meanwhile doing sadhana .And one day when i ate due to pressure from my family i felt a whole lot of guilt ,pain and depressed within on very first bite so that's when i observed myself and continue my journey . Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤❤
Great Conversation ❤
Namaskaram 🙏 Sadhanapada was an amazing spiritual experience but very challenging… if it hadn’t been for much encouragement from people around me, I also had a couple of moments where I felt I would leave. So glad she came back!❤
Support is very important I agree!
Challenges must be there if we want to grow.
Thanks for sharing that experience here!
If taxed that is not Sadhana but vedana(grief).
@@hfhsj12 What do you mean with taxed?

the hustle is real, unfortunately doesn't come with a whole lotta ethics.

(Jokes only. Don't get your knickers into a twist)
Very good Akka, many thanks 🙏
In my case also , I could not take up Certain asanas ; I enrolled for Sambhavi ; It was really rejuvenating; But due to my Thamasic nature ( no regulation / discipline) I felt I can not do and bowed out ; I only have to be blamed for lack of will ; Discipline is more important in such sadhanas ; If it comes from childhood , helpful
In Bharat, we say , home cooked food by our mom's n wife's n daughters are the best to remain healthy because the love of them towards u while cooking for us, comes to the food। Restaurant or professional cook made food cannot be so positive anyway you look at it। 🙏🙂
I always feel I came back home when I enter the ashram. Its a different feeling altogether...
It happens after traveling 😂 but its true personally I never fell ill at ashram the way I have at home/
Ashram is the real world, outside is the other world 🙏
After sadhanapada, how many hours of sadhana should be done including all yogasnas, shoonya and samyama ?
Very beautiful journey ❤😊
Thanks for watching!
I am visiting Ashrama in June. Can someone confirm whether visitors can have a meal in Biksha hall? I heard you need to book stay to eat in biksha hall. Is that the case?
Yes that is the case, you can eat in the restaurants outside :) there are Isha run ones and private ones.
Such misleading clickbait title.
The moment I saw the Thumbnail ... I realize I saw this akka somewhere ... coz I am from 23/24 batch hahaha
❤
Your not meant to be there for your temple is not outside it’s within you get sick as your energy is not for there listen to ut 😊
Is it very common to fall sick while being in sadhnapada because of change in weather ?
It depends 😅 I tend to fall sick every time I go to ashram due to travel and change of weather but my husband does not. So it depends from person to person. My husband did not get sick during Sadhanapada - only comon cold a few times but never had to go to doctor. So he is an example that did not get sick. Hope it helps 🤗 don't be scared!
I personally didn't get sick and no one from my roommates had to leave home or anything like that. So I would agree that I depends 😊🙏
Extreme wise humans we do fall sick simply because the body and mind is put to work accurately with universe as it eliminates all the toxins accumulated from all the crap we collect outside in existing.Body is now playing a drama as victim when you want to make it the best machine of universe.WHAT IS SO TOUGH IN GETTING THESE SILLY DILEMMAS CLARIFIED!!!!
Is mot tthe ahsram is the self is the concien
I made drama ❤
NO TIME NO TEACHING NO MOVEMENT NO YOU.
Where is the shocking fact...?
She left but ended up returning back, that was quite surprising - despite of a challenge (health) and being back at home (comfort) she choose to go back (challenge over comfort) its shocking.
@@TwistedReality108but you said reason is shocking...but i guess the click bait worked for more people to watch.
@@vanajavuppala4609 Isn't it shocking to fall sick and not get well. I am sorry to hear that you don't like any of the title this channel uses. Instead of focusing on the value offered here.
@@TwistedReality108 I wish you understand I am not against the videos. And just the misleading title I am talking about. It's ok if you don't get my point anna. Always very indebted to your effort of doing these videos.🙏🙏🙏 will not comment on your titles from now on. Pls carry on your journey peacefully. 🙏
@@vanajavuppala4609 What you are sharing is not bad but not helpful either. If you say a title does not work then please share a title that you feel is better. That would be criticism that is actually helpful.
So..what is so shocking???? Misleading topic.
She left and returned, healed in a few days after going home while her body refused to heal at ashram - if these are not shocking if it is your own health then I dont know what is shocking
Poorvi giggles showed the truth before.
Who is Poorvi :D
@@TwistedReality108 Reality is twisted.
Isha is not a single point solution for all different human issues/problems...
It all depends upon the individual's psychological relationship with the so-called issues/problems !
Even God cannot save a stupid who doesn't attempt to understand the reality of his/her issues/problems!?
It's true 🙏
There is no single solution for everybody. But there are solutions which can work for everybody.
@@TwistedReality108 dear friend, don't imagine ! There is single solution for all the problems of mankind ! Whoever discovers that Truth becomes his own Sadguru who will not make shows to prove himself/herself as Sadguru.
A Yoga master cannot be taken as Sadguru, anyway!
@@radhakrishnanv2286please get some info about Sadhguru ..maybe you can read some books about him. For me personally I don't comment on anyone before having any info about them. It depends from person to person but even though I suggest you find out about him
veganism is epic, go vegan, so that less suffering is created in this world
Exactly! ✨
Love to do Inner Engineering from Isha ashram , unfortunately ,I am such an unlucky person who can’t attend such courses from Isha Ashram…. Money matters right ? 😂
Not necessarily! Local Languages are available online as well, you can check Sadhguru App for details. It should be less then 4k Rps. And personally saying there is no amount of money which can be given for the kind of Healing and transformation that happens. Also if you are bellow 25 there is an extra discount right now. Other then that there is the Free Isha Kriya Meditation available 😊🙏
Who is this ghost looking in the camera?
@@sakshi0306 It's us 😂😂😂
How does ambience in the hall can change the foods taste that’s meaningless coz food is tasted by the tongue & ambience is even through the eyes & felt... it’s not true what your mentioning...imagine if the food is good it should taste the same no matter wherever your sitting 😊 The food taste what is being cooked in your house will be obviously different coz everyone has their own way to prepare & people in ashram are cooking in your house for you to have the same food taste 😮
Ambience in the hall helps the body prepare to be receptive. Because it's not just about taste she mentioned that it's not about taste. It's about how your body integrates the food. How your body digests, accumulates and uses the food. This is heavily influenced by your receptivity to make food a part of yourself. Because at some point whatever you are either has to become a part of you or has to come be exported. Gratitude and reverence can be greatly enhanced through the ambience and if you are grateful for the food it will taste different too because now you are not eating for pleasure or survival but consciously - it makes a difference. Instead of eating with compulsion you are eating consciously. Maybe right now logically you might think this doesn't make sense but if you experience it then you can't deny the effect 🙏❤️
It's like eating with your hands food tastes better than eating with a fork and spoon?
@@seshuaiyar-ur7mg absolutely because you're not just using one sense (taste) but touch as well. Which enhances your experience and also your hands are receptors to your digestive system, your body knows what will come when you touch the food so the digestive juices will be activated. It will be processed/digested better.
@@TwistedReality108 I am an Architect by Profession so I know about ambience.... If someone cooks really awful even if it is presented in the best ambience it doesn’t matter still the food taste remains the same if your food is tasting good in ambience that means your not in the present moment & not in presence of consciousness
@@seshuaiyar-ur7mg This example is nothing g to do with the ambience 🧐🤨🙆🏻♀️
People like u don't like real.life it's hard..ashraam is enjoyment ..casual attitude no stress no responsibility to create anything for pple around ..community needs hard work u r in a play school there
Very far from reality 🙏 Ashram is not enjoyment. Activity from MORNING 4.30am until 9.30PM NIGHT without any rest. How many days can you go without taking a nap in a day and without drinking stimulants like tea or coffee? Most people can't say they have done this. And that for 365 days, no weekend, no Sunday off. It's not easy to be at an Ashram, it's a choice and it can get challenging. Unless you've ever experienced living there you shouldn't be judging others 🙏
